Public reports offer a partial, time-bound picture of Dr. Dre’s cars—not a verified list of what he owns today. Dre recalled buying Ferraris, Mercedes-Benzes and Corvettes in an interview published in 2000. The clearest later account is a 2021 report of a stretched, customized Cadillac Escalade. A 2025 article names several other models, but those remain secondary reporting rather than confirmed current possessions.
What Dr. Dre has said about his cars
In a May 27, 2000 interview with The Guardian, Dre recalled an earlier period of lavish spending: “I probably bought somewhere between eight to 10 cars. Ferraris, I don’t know how many Mercedes, Corvettes . . . it was just dumb shit. I blew a lot of money.”
That is Dre’s retrospective account of purchases, not a count of cars he still owns. He named makes, but did not identify a Ferrari model in the quoted passage.
The customized Cadillac Escalade reported in 2021
The strongest specific vehicle account comes from Becker Automotive Design, which reported on August 28, 2021 that Dre’s latest purchase at that time was a stretched Cadillac Escalade customized by the company. The article reproduces an Economist article and describes a flat-screen television and a digital system for browsing Dre’s home film library.

Dre explained the appeal of the rear-seat setup: “I like to close the curtains, relax and watch Martin Scorsese films.” The phrase “latest purchase” refers to what was reported in 2021; it does not establish what he bought afterward or whether he still has the vehicle.
Other models named in collection coverage
A March 6, 2025 VIPFortunes article lists a 1987 Ferrari Testarossa, Cadillac Escalade, Hummer H2, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, Chrysler 300S and Bentley Continental GT. The list is useful as an account of cars associated with Dre in secondary coverage, but the available reporting does not independently confirm each model or establish that any of them are in his current garage.

What is—and isn’t—known about the collection
These accounts span different periods and have different levels of support: Dre’s own broad recollection, a customization company’s dated report about one vehicle, and a later secondary list of specific models. None establishes a complete present-day inventory, which cars Dre still owns, or their current condition.
VIPFortunes’ 2025 headline gives the collection a $1.2 million estimate. The available account does not provide a transparent complete inventory or valuation method, so that figure should be treated as the outlet’s estimate rather than a verified collection value.
