Why these cars may be interesting—and why sales alone do not explain their fortunes
The cars stand out for different reasons: the LS and E-Tron GT offer luxury in sedan form, the LC keeps a naturally aspirated V8 in the lineup, the Giulia serves the sport-sedan niche, and the Z4 pairs open-top driving with an available manual. Nor should annual sales be confused with dealer inventory days. Inventory-day estimates use local unsold inventory and a shorter recent sales window; they answer a different question from how many units sold nationally over a full calendar year.
