At their original U.S. model-year prices, a 2025 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 Premium came close to $60,000, while Lexus’s 2024 RC starting price was for the lineup—not specifically the RC 350 F SPORT. That makes MSRP a useful starting point, not a verdict on what either car is worth in October 2026. Choose the Supra for stronger published performance, rear-wheel drive and an available manual; favor the Lexus if a four-seat coupe layout and its standard driver-assistance suite matter more. Which is the better buy today depends on the actual car, its condition and its price.
What $60,000 bought at original MSRP
Toyota announced a U.S. MSRP of $56,250 plus $1,095 in Dealer Processing and Handling (DPH) for the 2025 GR Supra 3.0. The 3.0 Premium started at $59,400 plus DPH, putting it near the $60,000 budget before local charges or options. These are original model-year launch figures, not current transaction prices. Lexus announced a $45,920 starting MSRP including DPH for the 2024 RC lineup. That is not the specific starting price of the RC 350 F SPORT, so it cannot be used as a direct price match for the Supra Premium. Lexus’s 2024 RC announcement supplies the lineup figure.
Neither historical MSRP establishes what a particular vehicle costs now. In October 2026, a used 2024 Lexus or a new, used or remaining 2025 Supra could be listed above or below its original MSRP. Current local inventory and asking prices have not been established here.

Toyota’s figures come from its 2025 GR Supra brochure; Lexus’s output and acceleration figures are from its 2024 model-year announcement. The seat comparison is supporting context from Cars.com’s 2025 comparison, not exact 2024 trim documentation.
Choose the Supra for performance and a manual option
The Supra 3.0 is a two-seat, rear-wheel-drive sports car. Its turbocharged inline-six is rated at 382 hp and 368 lb-ft, and Toyota offers both an eight-speed automatic and a six-speed manual. If you want a manual or are prioritizing the higher published output, the Supra is the clear match between these two.

Toyota lists a 3.9-second 0–60 mph figure for the automatic. The brochure states that performance figures were obtained with prototype vehicles by professional drivers and are for comparison only; treat this as a manufacturer figure, not an independent test result. Toyota’s estimated fuel economy is 23 city/31 highway mpg for the automatic and 19/27 mpg for the manual. Those are estimates, not observed results, and no comparable official Lexus fuel-economy figure is established here.
Choose the Lexus for four-seat coupe utility and standard assistance features
The RC 350 F SPORT is the passenger-oriented choice: the RC is listed as a four-seat coupe, while the Supra has two seats. Four seats do not by themselves establish that the Lexus rear seat will be comfortable for adults on a regular basis; consider who will use it and inspect the exact car in person.

Lexus says Safety System+ 2.5 is standard on every 2024 RC. The listed functions include pre-collision detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, radar cruise control, lane tracing assist and road-sign assist. The RC 350’s 3.5-liter V6 makes 311 hp and 280 lb-ft. Lexus lists an estimated 0–60 mph time of 5.8 seconds for rear-wheel drive and 6.0 seconds for all-wheel drive. RWD models use an eight-speed automatic; AWD models use a six-speed automatic. Lexus does not list a manual transmission for these RC 350 configurations.

How to decide which is the better $60,000 buy
First compare real listings, not just the two model-year names. A low-mileage example and a higher-mileage one are not equivalent, even if their asking prices are close. Use the same checklist for each car:
- Exact version: Confirm model year, trim, engine, drivetrain and transmission. Do not confuse the RC 350 F SPORT with the distinct V8-powered RC F.
- Total price: Compare the asking price plus dealer fees, options and applicable local charges, rather than comparing one car’s sticker price with another’s advertised base MSRP.
- Condition and history: Check mileage, accident and service history, and have a used car inspected before purchase.
- Warranty and equipment: Verify what warranty coverage remains and which options are fitted to that specific vehicle.
- Your use: Decide whether two seats and a manual option suit your routine, or whether the Lexus’s additional seating and standard assistance features are more useful.
The evidence here does not establish October 2026 local asking prices, the exact 2024 RC 350 F SPORT MSRP, or comparative maintenance, insurance, reliability, resale or crash-test results. Those should not be inferred from original MSRP or published performance figures.

What the Lexus production announcement means
Lexus announced that RC and RC F production would end after model year 2025. That makes the 2024 RC part of a model line with an announced end, but the announcement does not establish future resale value or parts availability. Lexus’s production announcement explains the model-year timing.
