The page says each motorcycle is individually serialized and that 2,500 were produced worldwide for the edition. That is a production figure, not a claim about how many remain unsold or where they can be found.
The headline can be confused with other reported returns. Motorrad Online reported on May 6, 2026, that a Sportster return was announced for 2027; projections in that coverage about its engine, power and price are not confirmed specifications. Visordown reported on May 8, 2026, that a Sprint was planned for 2027, while noting that official details were limited. Neither is the 2026 Super Glide listed by Harley-Davidson.
What connects the 2026 model to the original?
Harley-Davidson identifies the 1971 FX as the inspiration for the Super Glide’s White Onyx Pearl paint and vintage tank graphics.
