Honda lists a 2025 CBR600RR in the United States, in standard and ABS trims. The catch is that this U.S. listing is not the same published specification as the substantially revised CBR600RR Honda announced for Europe’s 2024 model year (24YM). Honda’s U.S. page specifies a 599cc inline-four but does not list the European model’s six-axis-IMU rider-aid package. That is a comparison of Honda’s market-specific pages—not confirmation that the U.S. bike is an older generation.
What is the catch with the 2025 Honda CBR600RR?
It is a market-version distinction. Honda’s U.S. model pages list a 2025 CBR600RR with standard and ABS trims. Separately, Honda announced a revised CBR600RR for Europe’s 24YM lineup, featuring an upgraded engine and extensive electronic rider aids. The U.S. page does not list those European electronics, so the European equipment should not be assumed to apply to the U.S. 2025 model.
Honda Global’s November 7, 2023 announcement said the CBR600RR would return to Europe after six years away. That statement describes the European lineup; it does not mean the U.S. 2025 listing is the same revision, nor does Honda’s reviewed U.S. page label its bike as an old generation.

What Honda lists for the U.S. 2025 CBR600RR
Engine, transmission and chassis
Honda specifies a 599cc liquid-cooled inline-four and a six-speed transmission. The listed final drive is a #525 O-ring chain with 16T/42T gearing. Suspension comprises an adjustable 41mm inverted Big Piston Fork and Unit Pro-Link rear suspension.
Brakes, tires and dimensions
- Brakes: dual radial-mounted 310mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc.
- Tires: 120/70ZR-17 front and 180/55ZR-17 rear.
- Honda-listed curb weight: 419 pounds.
- Seat height: 32.4 inches.

Which U.S. trim and price does Honda list?
Honda’s U.S. 2025 pages show a standard CBR600RR at a base MSRP of $12,199 and a CBR600RR ABS at a base MSRP of $13,199. The standard model page displays a $600 destination charge. Treat these as Honda’s listed U.S. pricing as of October 4, 2026, not a dealer quote or a guaranteed out-the-door total. Check the standard model page and ABS model page for current listing details.
Does the U.S. bike have the European 24YM electronics?

The reviewed U.S. 2025 page does not list that package. The safe conclusion is that the U.S. page does not establish those features for its listed model—not that Honda has explicitly called the U.S. bike an older generation. For the European announcement, see Honda Global’s 24YM release.
Why the UK listing is not a direct price comparison
Honda UK lists a 2024 CBR600RR at £10,999 and gives that market’s specifications. It is a different model-year and market listing, so the pound price should not be converted and compared directly with U.S. MSRP as if the two were equivalent retail offers. Currency, tax, destination charges and local pricing conventions differ. Honda UK also lists 89kW (119hp) at 14,250rpm, 63Nm at 11,500rpm and 193kg kerb weight for its 2024 model; those are UK-market figures, not U.S. 2025 specifications. Warranty and California note
Honda lists a one-year transferable, unlimited-mileage limited warranty for the U.S. model and says HondaCare extended coverage is available. Honda also notes that the California version may differ slightly because of emissions equipment. Check the current U.S. model page and dealer documentation for the terms applicable to a specific motorcycle.
