The collaboration brought together Team Ikuzawa, led by Mai Ikuzawa, and Bamford Watch Department, founded by George Bamford. The official feature describes a steel bracelet and an additional white Velcro strap bearing the Team Ikuzawa logo. Monochrome’s 2023 report likewise describes the white fabric strap and the 100-piece limit.

How is the 2026 Team Ikuzawa Carrera different?
TAG Heuer introduced a separate Team Ikuzawa Carrera in 2026: reference CBS221M.EB0435. It is a 39 mm model limited to 150 individually numbered pieces, not a renamed or revised specification of the 2023 Bamford edition. The official US product page lists its design, movement and current US listing details.

Is the 2023 Carrera x Team Ikuzawa by Bamford discontinued?
TAG Heuer’s US page currently marks reference CBN201F.EB0356 as discontinued. The official 2023 feature says the watch was sold exclusively through TAG Heuer boutiques in Japan and the Japanese e-commerce site at launch. Those page-specific facts do not establish whether an individual boutique elsewhere has remaining stock or whether a particular resale listing is genuine or available.
What did the watch cost at launch?
Historical prices vary by market and source. Monochrome reported an initial price of CHF 6,250 for the 2023 edition; TAG Heuer’s US product page currently displays $6,300 for the discontinued reference. Neither figure should be treated as a current resale value or a guaranteed offer. The later 2026 model is a separate watch, listed at $10,500 on TAG Heuer’s US page.
