The SUV teased by Suzuki Pakistan ahead of PAPS 2025 was the Fronx. Pak Suzuki unveiled it at the Karachi show on 14 November 2025, initially saying an official launch was planned for May 2026. Suzuki Motor Corporation later reported that sales began on 6 May 2026, with the Pakistani-market vehicle produced at Pak Suzuki’s Karachi plant.
What Suzuki was teasing before PAPS 2025
Before the show, a covered vehicle at Suzuki’s stand prompted speculation that it might be the expected Fronx. That was a pre-event guess, not a confirmed identification. Pak Suzuki resolved the question on 14 November 2025, when it announced the Fronx at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) in Karachi.
PAPS 2025, organized by PAAPAM, ran from 14 to 16 November at Expo Centre Karachi. In its announcement, Pak Suzuki described the Fronx as a new XUV-category vehicle and said it would be the first locally assembled vehicle in that category. The announcement set an official launch for May 2026; it was a plan, not yet confirmation that customer sales had started.
Reveal, planned launch and sales start are different milestones
- 14 November 2025 — reveal: Pak Suzuki unveiled the Fronx at PAPS 2025 and announced its intention to launch it in May 2026. Pak Suzuki’s announcement.
- 6 May 2026 — sales began: Suzuki Motor Corporation subsequently reported that Pak Suzuki had unveiled the vehicle and started sales on that date. The report was published on 7 May 2026. Suzuki Motor Corporation’s launch report.
So the teaser is now a retrospective story: the identity was confirmed at the show, and the announced May 2026 timing became a sales start on 6 May.

What is confirmed about the Pakistani-market Fronx
Suzuki Motor Corporation says the Pakistani-market Fronx is produced at Pak Suzuki’s Karachi plant. It identifies Pakistan as the model’s third production base, after India and Indonesia. These are Suzuki’s descriptions of its production footprint.
The company describes the Fronx as a coupe-style compact SUV and says it is sold in more than 70 countries and regions. Suzuki also calls the mild-hybrid system a first among Pak Suzuki-produced models; these are company-reported claims, not independent assessments of the vehicle.

Official specifications: engines and transmissions
Suzuki Motor Corporation’s launch report lists two 1,460 cc gasoline engine options for Pakistan: the K15B and the K15C mild hybrid. It pairs them with these transmissions:

What prospective buyers still need to verify
The launch report confirms sales and production, but it does not establish current Pakistani variant names, prices, booking terms, warranty conditions, fuel economy or feature-by-feature equipment. Buyers should confirm those details directly with Pak Suzuki before making a purchase decision. Suzuki’s report cites the company’s FY2025 domestic sales of 88,445 units and a 40% share of Pakistan’s market; both figures are company-reported and refer specifically to FY2025.
