The date followed the company’s November 2025 announcement at PAPS that the launch was planned for May 2026. That earlier release named the month, not the day: the later announcement supplied the specific date.
How Pak Suzuki describes the Fronx
Pak Suzuki markets the Fronx as Pakistan’s “first-ever XUV” and its first locally assembled vehicle in that category. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions; “XUV” here is a marketing category, not an independently established or regulated vehicle classification. The company’s PAPS announcement also framed the model as part of its “Made in Pakistan” product portfolio.

What changes between grades?
The official comparison distinguishes the variants by transmission, equipment and finish. GL is listed with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic and 7-inch display audio; GLX configurations use a 6-speed automatic and 9-inch display audio. Equipment depends on the grade: Suzuki lists lane-keeping assistance, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control and an around-view monitor for the hybrid ADAS grade, not as standard equipment across the full range.
