Its later-reported India timeline puts production in May 2025 and sales commencement in January 2026—not the April 2025 sales start originally forecast.
What is the Suzuki e-Address, and when did it launch?
The e-ACCESS/e-Address is Suzuki’s first global strategic battery-electric motorcycle, presented as an electric scooter. Suzuki unveiled it at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi, held January 17–22, 2025. The company’s January 2025 announcement initially forecast production from March and India sales from April 2025. Suzuki Motorcycle India later reported that production began in May 2025, and its 2026 press kit says sales commenced in January 2026. The forecast should not be mistaken for the actual sales date. “Latest” is not a verified ranking of electric-scooter launches: Suzuki’s announcement establishes when its model was unveiled, not that it was the most recent manufacturer to launch one.
What is the range of the Suzuki e-ACCESS?
Suzuki Motorcycle India lists a range of 95 km under AIS 040. Suzuki’s global e-Address page lists 80 km under WMTC Class 1. These are manufacturer-published figures under different test cycles, so they should not be treated as directly comparable or as guaranteed real-world distances. Suzuki says actual range can vary with weather, roads, rider behavior and maintenance. Battery, performance and energy use
The global specification lists a fixed 3.07 kWh lithium-ion battery using LFP chemistry, maximum power of 4.1 kW and maximum torque of 15 Nm. Suzuki’s global WMTC Class 1 energy-consumption figure is 47 Wh/km; Suzuki Motorcycle India lists 39 Wh/km under AIS 039. As with range, keep each consumption figure attached to its own test cycle rather than comparing the numbers as if they came from one procedure. These are Suzuki’s published 2025 model figures; check the manufacturer pages for updates.
Charging: what Suzuki lists
The battery is fixed, not presented as removable. Suzuki’s global material lists a portable charger and single-phase 200–240 V AC charging. The charging times differ by market specification and charging method:

Suzuki says charge time can vary with battery and ambient temperature, charger type and battery condition. The listed times are manufacturer figures, not a universal promise for every charging setup.
Features intended for everyday riding
Suzuki describes the e-Address as having regenerative braking, three drive modes, reverse mode and a maintenance-free belt drive. Its global product page characterizes the modes this way:

Dimensions and weight vary by published market specification
Suzuki’s global page lists a curb mass of 122 kg, seat height of 765 mm and ground clearance of 160 mm. The India page lists its own overall dimensions; the global page gives a different overall length. These figures should be read as market-specific published specifications, not silently combined into a single universal spec sheet.

Optional 27-litre top case: check the adapter
Suzuki lists a 27-litre plastic top case, part number 93100-29810-000, with a maximum load of 3 kg. Mounting it to the scooter’s standard rear carrier requires a separately sold adapter plate, part number 93900-29810-000. Fitment and availability may vary by market. The accessory is documented by Suzuki, but an active Amazon listing is not established; check the marketplace, model fitment and whether the adapter plate is included before buying.
India finance, buyback and rental options
Suzuki Motorcycle India’s January 2026 announcement described retail finance and an assured buyback upgrade programme through Greaves Finance’s ev.fin. The announced programme terms were up to 60% of ex-showroom value after 36 months or up to 50% after 48 months, subject to terms; the announcement said finance was available in 75 cities. In March 2026, Suzuki Motorcycle India announced a rental and subscription partnership with Royal Brothers Rentals, starting with e-ACCESS. The announcement does not establish which cities currently have scooters available, so prospective renters should confirm local fleet availability directly.
