Both use a 776cc parallel-twin platform; the GSX-8T has naked, retro-influenced styling, while the GSX-8TT adds a distinctive headlight cowl and under-cowling. Suzuki listed US MSRPs of $10,649 and $11,149, respectively, and expected both at dealerships in August 2025.
What Suzuki announced
The July 2025 announcement covered the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT as new additions to Suzuki’s US 2026 lineup. Suzuki also listed returning motorcycles and other vehicles in the release, so the two GSX models—not the entire roster—are the new middleweights at the center of this announcement. How the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT differ

The announced MSRP difference was $500. Suzuki’s release does not establish a performance difference between the two models; the stated distinction is their bodywork and styling.
Shared engine and equipment
Suzuki specified a 776cc parallel twin with a 270-degree firing order and Cross Balancer for both motorcycles. The manufacturer also listed a Suzuki Clutch Assist System, bidirectional quick shift, three-mode Suzuki Drive Mode Selector and four-mode Advanced Traction Control System.

Other announced equipment includes KYB suspension, ABS-equipped Nissin front brakes, a five-inch color TFT display and USB Type-C power. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent road-test findings.
Price and timing: what the announcement establishes
Suzuki said the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT were expected in US dealerships in August 2025. The prices above are the MSRPs stated in that July 2025 announcement; they do not confirm present dealer inventory, current asking prices or transaction prices. Check with a Suzuki dealer for current availability and pricing.

The SV-7GX is a separate middleweight
Suzuki later introduced the SV-7GX in Europe as a middleweight crossover, not as one of the GSX-8T or GSX-8TT models in the 2025 US announcement. Suzuki GB’s May 2026 release gave UK on-the-road prices of £6,999 for white and £7,399 for the other listed colorways, with dealer arrival expected in summer 2026. Those are UK-market figures and should not be compared with the GSX models’ US announcement MSRPs as if they were the same market or launch.
In a separate German release dated September 16, 2026, Suzuki Deutschland listed the SV-7GX with a 645cc V-twin producing 73 PS and 64 Nm, a 795 mm seat height, ride-by-wire, three riding modes, traction control and a bidirectional quickshifter. The release also noted an optional A2 configuration. These specifications apply to the German-market SV-7GX and are not specifications for the GSX-8T or GSX-8TT. Suzuki Deutschland’s SV-7GX announcement provides that market-specific information.

What the announcements do not establish
The official material describes the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT’s features but does not provide independent road-test results or model-specific sales figures. It also does not establish current inventory or verified online purchase availability. Suzuki’s September 2026 announcement of its next wave of 2027 models is a separate lineup update; it does not revise the historical launch details for the 2026 GSX-8T and GSX-8TT.
