Susana González acompañó a su hijo Santiago a una carrera de karting y expresó públicamente que cuenta con su apoyo. En una publicación compartida durante el fin de semana previo al 1 de diciembre de 2025, también habló de los nervios y la frustración que forman parte de competir.

People en Español informó el 1 de diciembre de 2025 que González estuvo junto a Santiago en una carrera de karting el fin de semana anterior. La nota describió momentos de la preparación y reprodujo el mensaje de la actriz: “Tiene mi apoyo siempre”. People en Español
González también se refirió a la presión de la competencia: “En el kartismo como en la vida hay momentos de nervio y frustración, pero esto también es parte de la carrera”. La cita fue publicada por People en Español junto a imágenes de Instagram.
Qué se sabe de las carreras de Santiago
La cobertura de Univision también informó sobre la carrera y señaló que González describió como “bueno” al equipo de Santiago. No publicó la posición final del joven en esa competencia. People en Español indicó igualmente que no se conocía su puesto en esa carrera de 2025; ese resultado no debe confundirse con noticias posteriores.

Qué se sabe —y qué no— sobre su equipo
No se ha identificado públicamente el casco, la ropa protectora ni otro equipo personal que Santiago usó. La FIA indica que los guantes y zapatos aprobados bajo el estándar 8877-2022 son obligatorios desde el 1 de enero de 2025 en las competencias incluidas en el calendario deportivo internacional de la federación. Esa regla no permite concluir que la carrera de Santiago estuviera dentro de ese calendario. Para elegir equipo, hay que consultar las reglas del campeonato concreto y confirmar la homologación, vigencia de la certificación y talla con el organizador o proveedor.
