Stellantis’ May 21, 2026 FaSTLAne 2030 announcement sets out a five-year plan for 2026–2030 and assigns roles to 12 named brands. It does not individually explain the future of all 14 brands counted in the company’s 2024 portfolio description. The plan signals that Stellantis intends to use its full brand portfolio, but retention does not mean equal investment: the company prioritizes four global brands and its commercial-vehicle unit.
What Stellantis announced
Stellantis describes FaSTLAne 2030 as a five-year strategy intended to drive profitable growth. The company says it plans to invest more than €60 billion during the plan period. Its strategy page divides that investment approximately 60% for brands and products and 40% for global platforms and technologies. These are planned allocations, not reported spending to date. The product pipeline calls for more than 60 new vehicle launches and 50 significant refreshes through 2030, across powertrain types. Stellantis also says it aims to shorten product-development cycles to 24 months, compared with as much as 40 months today, and to reduce annual costs by €6 billion by 2028 against a 2025 baseline. Those figures describe company targets; the announcement does not establish that the launches or savings have been achieved.
Which brands get which roles?
The announcement groups 12 named brands into four categories. The distinction matters: Stellantis is not proposing equal spending or identical priorities across the portfolio.

The 70% allocation is for the four global brands plus Pro One, not for those four brands alone. Stellantis does not provide a brand-by-brand investment breakdown in the cited announcement. The company also describes shared platforms and technologies as part of the plan, while saying regional brands should become more distinct.
Does the plan confirm Stellantis will keep all 14 brands?
Not quite. Stellantis described its portfolio as comprising 14 automotive brands in a September 2024 release, but that earlier count is not proof that the May 2026 plan individually sets out the future of all 14. The FaSTLAne 2030 announcement names 12 legacy brands and gives them roles; it does not name every brand in the earlier count or explicitly confirm each one’s continued operation. CEO Antonio Filosa said, “Every brand in Stellantis will play a clear role in delivering our FaSTLAne 2030 commitments.” That statement signals the company’s stated intent to give its brands a role, but it does not substitute for a brand-by-brand commitment in the published plan.
Why the strategy follows a difficult reset
FaSTLAne 2030 follows a business reset announced in February 2026. Stellantis said that reset resulted in approximately €22.2 billion in charges excluded from adjusted operating income for the second half of 2025. The company also said it would pay no dividend in 2026 in recognition of its 2025 net loss, and described the reset as a response to customer preferences and demand. That context helps explain the plan’s emphasis on profitable growth, shared assets, cost reduction and a larger share of investment for the brands Stellantis sees as having the strongest scale and profit potential. It does not show that the new strategy has already reversed the pressures behind the reset.

For customers, the clearest near-term signal is that Stellantis intends to keep developing products across its brands, with a mix of new launches and major refreshes. The plan also points to multiple powertrain types rather than a single powertrain approach. It does not, in the cited announcement, provide a complete model-by-model schedule, confirm specific launch dates or identify the two planned Maserati E-segment vehicles.

The brand categories offer a guide to priorities, not a guarantee about the future of any particular nameplate, dealership, market or vehicle. A regional brand’s focus on core markets, for example, does not specify which models will be offered in each country. Stellantis’ SEC-filed 2026 Half-Year Report repeats the groupings and the expected timing of Maserati’s detailed roadmap; it does not turn the forward-looking plan into completed results.
