Six production sports motorcycles in the available manufacturer specifications are verified above 200 hp. That is not a complete ten-bike ranking: the cited evidence does not establish ten qualifying models under a consistent rule. The figures below are manufacturer claims, not results from a shared independent dyno test, and each depends on its stated model year or market.
Six sports bikes with published output over 200 hp
These examples meet the threshold in the cited specifications. They are not ranked: measurement methods and market scopes differ, so the figures do not support a reliable cross-brand power order.
| Model and scope | Published power | Other published output | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 Kawasaki Ninja H2 ABS | 239.6 hp at 11,500 rpm | Not stated in the cited specification sheet | Kawasaki’s US specification sheet identifies ISO 4106 as its measurement standard and says the resulting stated figure can be higher than one measured under SAE. |
| 2025-generation Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory | 220 hp at 13,100 rpm | 125 Nm at 10,800 rpm | Aprilia/Piaggio Group announcement, November 5, 2024. |
| BMW M 1000 RR | 160 kW (218 hp) at 14,500 rpm | 113 Nm at 11,100 rpm; 999 cc | BMW Motorrad UK technical data, accessed October 7, 2026. This is a UK regional specification, not a guarantee of identical figures in every market. |
| 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 | 209 hp at 13,500 rpm | 89.5 lb-ft at 11,250 rpm | Ducati Media House announcement, July 25, 2024. |
| 2026 Ducati Panigale V4 R, US standard configuration | 208.4 hp at 13,250 rpm | Not stated in the cited release | Ducati’s US release, September 23, 2025. Higher figures associated with racing exhaust configurations are not standard road-bike output and are excluded here. |
| MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro | 208 hp at 13,000 rpm | 116.5 Nm at 11,000 rpm | MV Agusta Press Center specification, 2024. |
Why horsepower figures do not make a fair ranking by themselves
Measurement standards can differ
The Ninja H2 ABS figure is explicitly based on ISO 4106, and Kawasaki cautions that it may be higher than an SAE-measured figure. The cited sources do not provide a normalized, independent measurement set for all six bikes. Treat the values as each manufacturer publishes them, not as directly comparable dyno results.
Model year and market matter
A number should travel with its model year and market. BMW’s cited figure is from its UK technical page, while Ducati’s V4 R figure is explicitly for the US standard configuration. A manufacturer’s regional page may not establish the specification sold elsewhere.

- Made for New Road Riders: Continental built the Ultra Sport III as a modern, versatile tire for riders getting into road cycling, on race bikes and classic city drop-bar bikes.
- PureGrip Compound: An activated-silica rubber mix that Continental engineered for exceptionally good grip and durability, used across its performance road and mountain ranges.
- Dynamic Tread Design: The completely renewed tread pattern gives this third-generation Ultra Sport a modern look, with a 3/180 TPI casing for a supple, comfortable ride.
- E25 E-Bike Rated: Continental rates the Ultra Sport III for e-bikes up to 25 km/h, with a structure that resists premature wear from the added driving force.
- Two Tires, Size Details: Two 700x25 (ETRTO 25-622) clinchers; 52-123 PSI per Continental. Fits 622 mm (700c) road rims.
Standard road equipment is not race equipment
Optional racing exhausts and other race-only configurations can carry separate output claims. Those figures should not be substituted for a standard road specification; Ducati’s V4 R release makes this distinction particularly relevant.
What the FIM homologation list can—and cannot—show
The FIM’s 2026 homologated-motorcycle register, dated February 18, 2026, lists models in the Superbike class, including the Aprilia RSV4, BMW M 1000 RR, Ducati Panigale V4 and V4 R, Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, and Kawasaki ZX-10R variants. Homologation is competition context, not a horsepower table; the list does not establish that every listed motorcycle exceeds 200 hp.
Rank #2
- Made for New Road Riders: Continental designed the Ultra Sport III as a modern tire for those new to road cycling, at home on a race bike or a classic city drop-bar bike.
- PureGrip Compound: Derived from an activated-silica mix, PureGrip is named for what it delivers, exceptionally good grip and durability, per Continental.
- Renewed Tread Design: The third-generation Ultra Sport is completely renewed with a dynamic tread pattern and comes in a wide range of sizes and colors.
- E25 E-Bike Rated: Continental rates the Ultra Sport III for e-bikes up to 25 km/h, with a high-quality structure that resists premature wear from the added driving force.
- Two Tires, Size Details: Two 700x28 (ETRTO 28-622) folding bead clinchers for 622 mm (700c) rims; 52-116 PSI per Continental. Use with inner tubes.
Why this is a six-bike list, not a ten-bike ranking
The exact title promises ten qualifying bikes, but the cited official specifications substantiate only six examples. The additional models named in the FIM register cannot fill the remaining places without qualifying power figures. Listing ten would therefore imply facts these sources do not establish. A complete ranking would also need consistent measurement conditions or a clear rule for comparing manufacturer-published claims.
