Its twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six is rated by Singer at 710 HP SAE Net and 750 Nm, and Singer says it revs beyond 9,000 rpm—not merely to an exact 9,000-rpm redline. The often-repeated $3 million figure is a reported rumor, not a price Singer has confirmed.
What is Singer’s DLS Turbo Sorcerer?
Sorcerer is a bespoke Porsche 911 restoration based on an owner-provided Type 964. Singer says it assessed and strengthened the car’s original monocoque, then reimagined the car through its DLS Turbo services. It is not a standard new Porsche model: each restoration is personalized around its owner, and Singer carries out DLS Turbo work at its UK facility. Singer’s Sorcerer announcement identifies this as the first completed DLS Turbo customer car.
The design draws on the Porsche 934/5 endurance racers of the late 1970s. Singer’s 2023 service announcement says the 934/5 won six of eight races and the SCCA Trans American championship in 1977; that historical tally is Singer’s account. The broad fenders, intakes and rear wing translate that racing influence into a road-car restoration.
How much power does Sorcerer make, and what does “9,000-rpm redline” mean?
Singer specifies 710 HP (SAE Net) and 750 Nm of torque for Sorcerer’s 3.8-liter flat-six. The engine uses four valves per cylinder, twin variable-geometry turbochargers, water-cooled cylinder heads and air-cooled cylinders, with an electrically powered horizontal fan. Singer says it will rev to over 9,000 rpm. That is the manufacturer’s stated capability, not a published exact limiter or an independently verified redline. Singer’s earlier DLS Turbo service page described the engine more generally as producing over 700 HP at more than 9,000 rpm.

These are manufacturer figures; the cited announcements do not report an independent dynamometer test or a measured acceleration or top-speed result. The headline’s “700 HP” is rounded shorthand for Singer’s more specific 710-HP SAE Net claim.
What is the drivetrain and equipment?
The engine sends power through a six-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels. Singer also lists five driving modes—Road, Sport, Track, Off and Weather—and says the ABS, traction control and electronic stability control were developed with Bosch.

Sorcerer has CCM-R carbon-ceramic discs and monobloc calipers, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged magnesium center-lock wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Singer does not state tire sizes, so these specifications should not be treated as a fitment guide for another 911.
Can DLS Turbo be configured for road or track use?
Singer describes road-focused and track-focused front-fascia and rear-decklid configurations. Owners who request both can have the components configured or switched between setups. Sorcerer is shown in the track-focused configuration, with its owner selecting the front fascia and rear wing.

Singer has not published comparative measurements showing how much either configuration changes downforce, drag, lap times or road performance. The distinction is therefore a choice of intended setup and styling, not a quantified performance advantage.

Singer has not published a fixed price for Sorcerer. Its service page says restorations are unique, depend on the owner’s requests and will be commissioned in limited numbers. Autoblog reported on January 22, 2026, that Sorcerer was rumored to cost “in the region of $3 million.” That is a secondary-source estimate described as a rumor—not Singer’s confirmed price or a verified transaction value. Autoblog’s report gives the estimate; Singer’s DLS Turbo service page explains that commissions are individually specified.

What makes Sorcerer a personal commission?
The exterior is finished in graduated Fantasia Blue. Inside, Pebble Grey leather, Pearl Grey Alcantara seat centers, Champagne piping and trim, and satin carbon-fiber details reflect the owner’s choices. These finishes are specific to Sorcerer, not a standard equipment package.
The carbon-fiber bodywork is informed by computational fluid dynamics work intended to support aerodynamic and cooling performance. Together with the reinforced original monocoque, manual transmission and modern electronic controls, the result combines a highly individualized restoration with contemporary systems without making it a factory-production 911.
