Saleen’s current 302 page lists the Black Label at 850 hp and prices it from $128,475 as a coupe or $139,975 as a convertible. Those are figures from different Saleen pages and dates—not one unchanged specification or price.
What Saleen announced at the 2024 debut
Saleen unveiled the 2024 302 Black Label at the Mustang Club of America’s 60th anniversary event at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 6, 2024. The company presented it as the top model in its 302 family, powered by a supercharged V8 and producing 800 hp. Saleen’s launch announcement listed a starting MSRP of $108,990.
The displayed car wore Speedlab Beryllium. Saleen said it offered 14 proprietary Speedlab colors; that launch announcement does not establish that every color remains available today.
How much horsepower does the Black Label have now?
Saleen’s current 302 model page, checked October 8, 2026, lists the Black Label at 850 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. Its stated 0–60 mph time is 3.5 seconds, and its top track speed is 183 mph. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results.

The difference between the 800-hp debut claim and the current 850-hp listing is important: attribute each figure to its source and date. The launch announcement documents how Saleen introduced the car in 2024; the current model page gives Saleen’s later listed specification.

The same page lists a $139,975 starting price for the Black Label convertible. It lists the Black Label’s warranty as 3 years/36,000 miles. Saleen’s published figures do not establish final transaction prices or dealer availability.
What distinguishes the Black Label package
The Black Label’s identity is more than its power rating. Saleen’s 2024 announcement emphasized an air-management and aerodynamic package, while its detailed specifications describe the current model’s equipment.

- Airflow and aero: A sculpted hood with a center vent is intended to extract high-pressure air and engine heat. Recessed side vents release pressure around the wheel area, and functional ducts direct air for brake cooling. The package also includes a front fascia, side skirts, rear fascia and diffuser, plus a rear wing. The detailed specification page identifies integrated hood vents and a high-downforce rear diffuser.
- Powertrain and exhaust: Saleen’s detailed specifications identify a supercharged 5.0L V8 and performance intake system, as well as a center exhaust. The launch announcement also highlighted the center-exit exhaust.
- Chassis and cabin: The 2024 announcement listed Gen 5 Racecraft suspension, Saleen brakes, and Saleen wheels and tires. It also described custom Saleen Sport Seating with Alcantara; the current specification page calls out Black Label sport seats.
The detailed specification page lists a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment. It does not establish other transmission choices, so do not assume an alternative is available from that listing alone.

Saleen’s ordering page directs prospective buyers to call 800-888-8945 or select a vehicle so a Saleen representative can follow up about the 302. Saleen says its vehicles include a Ford factory warranty in addition to coverage for Saleen components. For the current model page’s stated 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, ask Saleen how coverage applies to the specific vehicle and which exclusions or terms govern; the reviewed pages do not spell those details out.
