Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, launched in India on 9 April 2026. But “launched” does not mean it is available everywhere: Royal Enfield’s current booking and test-ride flow lists Bengaluru, while visitors elsewhere are told the bike is not yet available in their city and can sign up for a notification.
What launched—and when?
The Flying Flea C6 is a production launch, not just a concept. Royal Enfield introduced the Flying Flea brand and showcased the C6 on 21 February 2025; Eicher Motors’ 9 April 2026 release marks the C6’s launch. In that release, Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan said: “Flying Flea, the new city+ electric mobility brand from Royal Enfield, today embarks on its journey with the launch of its first motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6.” Eicher Motors’ launch release and Royal Enfield’s 2025 announcement distinguish the launch from the earlier unveiling.
Where can you book or arrange a test ride?
As of 8 October 2026, Royal Enfield describes booking and test rides as a phased, city-by-city rollout. The official India page lists Bengaluru as an available city. If you select a city where the C6 is not yet available, the page offers a notify-me option rather than presenting a booking there. Check the official C6 booking and test-ride page for your city; availability can change as the rollout expands.
How much does the Flying Flea C6 cost?
The India product page lists both Flea Green and Storm Black at ₹2,79,000, ex-showroom Bengaluru. That is not an on-road quote, and it should not be treated as a nationwide price or a price for other markets. On-road costs and availability for a particular location are not established by the listed figure. Confirm current pricing and any applicable charges with Royal Enfield through the official product page.

What are the C6’s claimed range, speed and charging figures?
Royal Enfield’s product page publishes the following specifications. They are manufacturer figures, not independently verified real-world test results.
| Specification | Published figure | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Range | 154 km IDC | An advertised test-cycle figure; actual road range is not established by this figure. |
| Top speed | 115 km/h | Manufacturer-published maximum. |
| Battery | 3.91 kWh | Capacity listed on the product page. |
| Charging | 20–80% in 65 minutes | Manufacturer-published time; the cited page does not establish charging conditions in this specification. |
These figures are listed on the official C6 product page. In particular, 154 km IDC should not be read as a promise that every rider will cover 154 km between charges. Riding conditions and actual use affect real-world range, and the cited source does not provide an independently measured road-range result.

What kind of electric motorcycle is it?
Flying Flea is Royal Enfield’s all-electric brand. The company describes the C6 as its first, classic-styled, road-biased motorcycle, aimed at modern city use and tight urban spaces. It identifies the scrambler-styled S6 as a model to follow, but the available brand information does not give the S6 a confirmed retail date or a full specification list. See Flying Flea’s C6 brand and lineup page.

What should a prospective buyer check next?
- Local access: Check whether booking or a test ride is open in your city; the current rollout is phased, not nationwide.
- Final cost: Treat ₹2,79,000 as the listed ex-showroom Bengaluru price only, and request a location-specific quote before budgeting.
- Range needs: Use 154 km IDC as a manufacturer test-cycle claim, not an assured daily riding distance; the cited official information does not establish independently tested real-world range.
- Charging details: Ask the dealer about charging setup and conditions relevant to your use, since the published 65-minute figure is not accompanied by those details on the cited page.
