Autocar India’s review found the bike especially enjoyable on twisty roads, while noting a practical trade-off for longer trips: its 11-litre fuel tank can mean more frequent fuel stops.
What is the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450?
The Guerrilla 450 is Royal Enfield’s modern roadster, built around the Sherpa 450 platform and engine family it shares with the Himalayan 450. The two are not the same motorcycle: the Guerrilla is configured for road use, with a lower seat and 17-inch wheels, while the Himalayan is the adventure-touring model.
Royal Enfield’s July 2024 launch announcement pitched the Guerrilla for everyday city speeds as well as spirited riding. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independently measured claim that it is the most fun Royal Enfield. Autocar India’s review offers a more specific assessment: it found the handling predictable and encouraging, particularly on twisty roads.
What changed on the 2026 Guerrilla 450 Apex?
“New” depends on the market and version. Royal Enfield launched the Guerrilla 450 in July 2024; the company announced 2026 Apex changes for EMEA on 23 April 2026. Royal Enfield’s current India page also promotes the Apex, but equipment and availability vary by market.

The Apex changes aim to make the bike feel more focused on pavement. They do not establish that every country receives the same tyres, display or configuration.
Which engine does the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 use?
Royal Enfield’s current India product page lists a 452cc engine producing 40PS and 40Nm. The manufacturer’s 2026 EMEA Apex announcement also gives output as 40PS and 40Nm. It belongs to the same engine family as the Himalayan 450, but the Guerrilla’s roadster setup gives it a different role.

How does the Guerrilla 450 ride?
Autocar India describes predictable, encouraging handling and says the Guerrilla is particularly enjoyable on twisty roads. That supports the idea of an engaging roadster, but it is a reviewer’s riding assessment—not a universal measurement or proof of a “most fun” ranking.
The 11-litre tank is the clearest touring compromise identified in that review. Riders planning longer journeys should factor in potentially more frequent fuel stops; the available evidence does not establish a fixed range, which depends on riding conditions and consumption.

What are the Guerrilla 450’s seat height, weight and mileage?
Autocar India’s current model overview lists the following figures. Its mileage numbers have different bases: the ARAI figure is a stated rating, while the city and highway figures are from Autocar India’s own testing.

What is the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 price?
Prices depend on country, variant and source. For India, Royal Enfield’s current product page lists a starting price of ₹2.51 lakh ex-showroom. Autocar India’s current overview lists an ex-showroom range from ₹2.49 lakh for Apex to ₹2.72 lakh for Flash. These are different published figures; check the current local dealer price and variant before buying.

For the UK, Royal Enfield Media’s 23 April 2026 EMEA announcement lists £5,050 for Apex Black/Red and £4,995 for Twilight Blue/Shadow Ash. Those UK prices should not be applied to other EMEA countries or markets.

The sources cited here do not state an on-road price. It depends on the buyer’s location, registration charges, insurance, taxes and any local fees, so request a current, itemized quote from a dealer in your area rather than treating an ex-showroom figure as the amount payable.

Is the Guerrilla 450 the same as the Himalayan 450?
No. They share the Sherpa 450 platform and 452cc engine family, but serve different riding purposes. The Guerrilla is the lower, road-focused roadster; the Himalayan is configured for adventure touring. The shared mechanical foundation does not make their posture, wheel setup or intended use interchangeable.
