Royal Enfield unveiled the Flying Flea S6 at EICMA in Milan on November 4, 2025. The company describes it as a scrambler-style electric motorcycle for city riding and nearby trails, with a launch targeted for toward the end of 2026. Price, range, battery capacity and motor output have not been announced in the official material covered here.
What is the Flying Flea S6?
The S6 is the scrambler in Flying Flea, Royal Enfield’s all-electric brand for connected electric two-wheelers. Royal Enfield positions it as an urban explorer intended for city streets, nearby trails and backroads—not as a proven off-road motorcycle. The company’s first two announced models are the road-biased, classically styled C6 and the scrambler-styled S6.
Royal Enfield and parent company Eicher Motors introduced the S6 at EICMA in Milan on November 4, 2025. Their launch announcement calls it “The Urban Explorer.” That is the manufacturer’s intended-use description, not an independent assessment of its performance.
What features has Royal Enfield announced?
Chassis and hardware
Royal Enfield’s reveal announcement lists a USD front fork, chain final drive, staggered 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, a high-torque electric motor, a long enduro-style seat and a magnesium battery case. It also identifies an off-road ride mode with switchable ABS.
#1 Best Overall
The current official S6 product page adds that the model has longer suspension travel. The company has not published the measurements needed to quantify that travel or establish how the motorcycle performs on rough terrain.
Controls and connected features
The company describes a true-round touchscreen instrument cluster; the current product page specifies a 3.5-inch round touchscreen. Other listed features include six riding modes, among them off-road and custom modes; bidirectional crawl mode; phone- or smartwatch-based keyless operation; navigation with dynamic range estimation; configurable regenerative braking and traction; lean-angle-sensing ABS; and wireless phone charging.

The official announcements disclose selected components and features, but not the core figures needed to judge electric-motorcycle performance or cost of ownership.

When will the Flying Flea S6 launch?
Royal Enfield says the S6 is slated to launch toward the end of 2026. That is a broad company-stated target, not a confirmed sale date. The official Flying Flea FAQ says pricing and details about test rides or showcases will be announced closer to the 2026 sale date. The reviewed official material does not establish which markets will receive the S6 or when.

How is the S6 different from the Flying Flea C6?
The clearest announced distinction is the intended riding orientation: Flying Flea describes the C6 as classically styled and road-biased, while the S6 is the scrambler model aimed at urban riding and nearby trails. The S6 announcement specifies its 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, chain drive and off-road mode; the official material covered here does not provide a like-for-like C6 specification comparison, nor enough S6 pricing or range information to compare ownership costs.

In a February 21, 2025 release about the broader Flying Flea launch, Mario Alvisi, Royal Enfield’s Chief Growth Officer of Electric Vehicles, said: “With the C6 and S6, we are not just introducing vehicles; we are introducing a feeling that riders have never experienced before.” That is the company’s positioning for the range rather than a technical evaluation of the S6.
