The motorcycle most likely meant by “Royal Enfield’s electric cruiser” is the Flying Flea C6, but the specific public-road sighting in the headline is not verified by the official sources available here. Royal Enfield describes the C6 as a classically styled, road-biased electric motorcycle—not officially as a cruiser. The company has since announced UK and European bookings, so the C6 is more than a speculative prototype; details of the reported sighting itself remain unresolved.
Was Royal Enfield’s electric cruiser spotted testing on public roads?
The headline appears to refer to the Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield’s first announced motorcycle under its all-electric Flying Flea brand. However, Royal Enfield’s official materials do not confirm the particular public-road sighting: they do not establish when or where it happened, or provide verified identifying details from the alleged test. Without a reliable account of that incident, it is not possible to confirm that a particular motorcycle was spotted testing.
“Cruiser” is the headline’s framing, not the category Royal Enfield uses for the C6. The company calls it a classically styled, road-biased motorcycle. Its official announcement on 21 February 2025 introduced the Flying Flea brand and presented the C6 as its first motorcycle (Royal Enfield’s announcement).
What is the Flying Flea C6?
Flying Flea is Royal Enfield’s all-electric motorcycle brand, distinct from the company’s conventional motorcycle range. The name draws on a historic Royal Enfield identity, but the C6 is a new electric product. Royal Enfield’s C6 product page positions it as a road-biased model and says the scrambler-style S6 is to follow.

The manufacturer lists a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery, an air-cooled battery pack, a magnesium-alloy casing and nominal pack voltage of 101.9 ± 0.5 V. These are Royal Enfield specifications, not independent test results; they do not by themselves establish real-world range or charging time.
Published features
- A belt-drive motor and Royal Enfield’s Fleaware.OS operating system.
- Five preset ride modes, with customizable settings.
- Cruise control and lean-angle-sensing ABS.
- Bidirectional crawl mode and auto-hold.
- Connected navigation features.
The product page does not provide an independent road-test assessment of these systems. It also describes the Electric Himalayan as a test bed, with no current production plan; it should not be confused with the C6.

How does the C6 compare with the Flying Flea S6?
Royal Enfield’s distinction is about intended use, not a published performance comparison. The C6 is the road-biased option; the S6 is described as the scrambler-oriented sibling. The S6’s positioning suggests a broader dual-sport-style brief, but the available material does not establish a full specification comparison or confirm its market availability.
| Model | Official positioning | What that means for a buyer | Availability and price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flying Flea C6 | Classically styled, road-biased electric motorcycle. | The more road-focused choice in the announced Flying Flea range; detailed riding performance should be judged from local specifications and a test ride. | Royal Enfield announced UK and European bookings in September 2026. See market-specific details below; check current local availability. |
| Flying Flea S6 | Scrambler sibling, described in official materials as the model to follow. | The more scrambler/dual-sport-oriented alternative. The cited material does not establish comparative ergonomics, terrain capability or performance figures. | Price and market availability are not stated in the cited official product material. |
Where is the C6 available, and what does it cost?
In an announcement dated 17 September 2026, Royal Enfield said C6 bookings had opened in five UK and European cities: Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London. The announced booking prices were £5,300 in the UK and €5,990 across Europe. These prices and locations apply to the markets named in that announcement, not to other countries; availability and local pricing can change. Royal Enfield said deliveries would begin by October 2026. Check with the local Flying Flea store or Royal Enfield dealer for current stock, delivery timing and terms.

For India, Royal Enfield’s product page lists a Flying Flea store in Bengaluru and says test-ride details would be announced closer to the 2026 sale date. Its FAQ does not state a price. UK and European figures should not be treated as Indian pricing.
Royal Enfield also reported that early riders logged “over 100,000 customer-ridden kilometres in just three months” after the C6’s India launch. This is a company-reported figure in its September 2026 announcement, not an independently audited measurement. In the same announcement, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, said the brand reflected the company’s “long-term intent to build a new category of electric mobility” (Royal Enfield’s September 2026 announcement).
What remains unknown about the reported road test?
- The date and location of the alleged sighting are not confirmed in the official materials cited here.
- No verified visual description establishes what the motorcycle looked like during that incident.
- There is no independently verified range, top speed, motor output or comparative test result in the information cited here.
Those gaps do not show that no road test occurred; they mean the specific claim cannot be substantiated from the available official evidence. For confirmed product details, rely on Royal Enfield’s model page and market-specific announcements rather than unverified spy-report specifications.
