The Rimac Nevera R is listed at 430 km/h (about 267 mph) under manufacturer oversight. Rimac later reported a separate, Dewesoft-verified run at 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph). Its September 2024 launch announcement gave a starting price of €2.3 million—not $2.5 million—and said production would be limited to 40 cars.
How fast is the Rimac Nevera R?
Rimac’s current Nevera R product page lists a top speed of 430 km/h, approximately 267 mph, under manufacturer oversight. That is the model’s published specification, not the same claim as a record-setting run.

In a 2025 announcement, Rimac said a Nevera R reached 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph) in a run independently verified by Dewesoft. The record result is slightly higher than the product-page figure; the two numbers describe different contexts and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Published performance figures
Rimac lists 2,107 hp, a 108 kWh battery, and acceleration of 0–60 mph in 1.66 seconds, 0–100 km/h in 1.72 seconds, and 0–300 km/h in 7.89 seconds. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from an independent test.

How much does the Nevera R cost?
Rimac’s September 12, 2024 announcement gave the Nevera R a starting price of €2.3 million and said production would be limited to 40 units. That is launch-era pricing. The reviewed official material does not establish an official $2.5 million base price or provide a dollar conversion, so the title’s dollar figure should not be presented as Rimac’s stated price.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Nevera R vs. standard Nevera
The Nevera R is a distinct, more performance-oriented version of Rimac’s standard Nevera. The company’s product pages list different power, battery capacity and top speed:
| Model | Listed top speed | Power | Battery capacity | Source context |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nevera R | 430 km/h (about 267 mph) | 2,107 hp | 108 kWh | Rimac product-page specifications, with top speed under manufacturer oversight |
| Nevera | 412 km/h (about 256 mph) | 1,914 hp | 120 kWh | Rimac product-page specifications |
The figures are Rimac’s published specifications for each variant, not a like-for-like independent comparison. The Nevera R’s separately reported 431.45 km/h record run is not the standard Nevera’s product-page figure.
What makes the R different?
Rimac describes the R as more focused on cornering than the standard Nevera. The changes it identifies include a fixed rear wing, an enlarged diffuser, a performance-oriented battery, revised tires and handling improvements. In its 2025 record announcement, Rimac said the R’s aerodynamic package produces 15% more downforce while improving aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Those percentages and development claims are manufacturer-reported.

The available figures do not establish a controlled comparison with competing hypercars.
