Renee Gracie left Australian V8 Supercars competition, built an adult-content business, and later returned to racing in GT events. The headline’s “full-throttle porn star” label is shorthand for that business. Her account of why she left racing, and what made her return possible, comes from her own interviews. Race results and team plans come from the series and from reporting, and this article keeps those categories separate.
Her V8 Supercars years
According to ABC News’ profile by Kate O’Halloran, published September 7, 2025, Gracie became the first full-time female V8 Supercars driver in 14 years after finishing in the Cup top ten five times by 2014. The same profile says she was part of the 2015 Bathurst 1000 with Simona De Silvestro, the first all-female Bathurst pairing in two decades, and that she crashed on lap 15. These are ABC’s reported details of her career, and they are the historical record this article relies on.
Why she says she left racing
Gracie’s explanation is personal testimony, not an independently established finding about the people or organisations she names. In her account to ABC, she was photographed stopping at a service station after returning to Queensland from Melbourne, and she felt management reacted harshly. She described that episode as the point at which she decided she was done with racing. She has also described scrutiny of her appearance and management pressure during this period.
She then said she struggled to meet living expenses while trying to find work in the car industry. In the same profile she recalled sitting in an unfurnished apartment with rent due and no lights on. This is her recollection, and it is presented here as such.

The adult-content business and the return to motorsport
ABC reports that Gracie returned to motorsport in 2021, after her adult-content business improved her financial position. The profile describes two years of unsuccessful attempts to get back into racing before a chance encounter at a U.S. content event led to a sponsorship conversation. Her account of that conversation, as printed by ABC, reads:
“I was at a content event, and I just said in passing, as a joke, ‘you guys should sponsor me so I can go back to racing’, and he said, ‘absolutely, send me an email’.”

Both statements are Gracie’s own words, as quoted in the ABC profile. The business and the sponsor are not described beyond what she and ABC report.

Her GT racing return
ABC reports that Gracie returned to the GT World Challenge circuit in 2023 and won the Australian GT Trophy. In the same interview she called the return a dream and said that self-management and maturity helped her handle situations differently than she had earlier in her career.
The official series confirms her 2025 season and title. Its 2025 season announcement said she would race for Melbourne Performance Centre in the same Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II for the 2025 season. The series’ 2026 announcement identifies her as the 2025 Am Cup champion.

Plans for 2026
The official 2026 GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS announcement says Gracie would move from Melbourne Performance Centre and her Audi to a Ferrari 296 GT3, racing under the OnlyFans Racing banner. That is an announced plan. The sources available for this article do not record her 2026 results, and readers should check the series’ race reports and results pages for the season’s outcome.

The January 2025 ABC triple j Hack listing framed the arc as “from racing to porn and back again”. It is a useful summary of how the story was received, but the longer September 2025 ABC profile is the better source for dates and direct quotations.
