View the Auto Express picture gallery for labelled images of the Twingo E-Tech Electric’s panoramic roof, interior and seats. The gallery is dated 6 October 2026.
Renault’s official media release also lists images under “Renault Twingo E-Tech electric – Twingobay.” The images are available to view, but the sources do not establish permission to republish them. Confirm image rights before using them elsewhere.

Renault’s 6 October 2026 media release names the Twingo E-Tech Electric’s panoramic glass roof Twingobay and gives its area as 0.7 m².

Renault says the multilayer glass filters 99.9% of UV rays, blocks most incoming infrared radiation and has a low-emissivity layer. The company says the design is intended to provide thermal comfort without a sunblind. These are manufacturer claims; the cited material does not report independent testing.
Pictures of older Twingo roof options
“Twingo panoramic roof” can refer to different cars and roof designs, not just the current Twingo E-Tech Electric. In a 9 May 2011 release, Renault Deutschland described a panoramic glass sliding roof offered on Rip Curl and Gordini versions and fitted as standard on Night & Day. Those trim details apply to the versions in that release, not automatically to other countries or generations.

The same release described a separate “Liberty” folding roof made from multilayer textile. Renault gave its dimensions as 83 × 113 cm, with a maximum opening of 64 × 62 cm. Those measurements refer to the Liberty roof, not the Twingobay glass roof.
For a prototype image, Renault UK’s Twingo Prototype page includes a separately labelled panoramic-roof image. Renault UK describes it as: “Twingo Protoype features a generous glass roof that bathes the cabin in natural light.” The page refers to the prototype, rather than serving as an independent assessment of the production roof.

In its 6 October 2026 release, Renault said orders were expected to open on 13 October 2026 and quoted a price of €550 or €600 depending on country. Since the announced order date has passed, those figures do not confirm current availability or the price in a particular market. Check with Renault locally for current configuration and pricing.

Check the generation and model before comparing photos: the Twingobay feature belongs to the Twingo E-Tech Electric, while older releases describe different roof options. For a useful comparison, identify the construction, whether the roof opens, and the trim or market to which the image applies. Renault’s cited material does not provide a complete fitment list across generations and countries.
