JLR claims up to 372 miles of WLTP range in the UK and up to 333 miles under the US EPA cycle. These are manufacturer figures—not independent test results—and the two range ratings are not directly comparable.
Is the Range Rover Electric fully electric?
Yes. The Range Rover Electric is a battery-electric vehicle (BEV), not the plug-in hybrid Range Rover P460e or P550e. Hybrid specifications should not be used to describe this model: for example, the Chile Range Rover page’s 116 km WLTP range and 40-minute rapid-charge claim apply to a plug-in hybrid, not the BEV. Range Rover Chile’s regional page shows why it is important to check which powertrain a specification refers to.
How much does the Range Rover Electric cost?
JLR’s 2 September 2026 announcements give different starting prices for the UK and US. They use different market conventions, so they should not be treated as equivalent prices.

The UK announcement lists short- and long-wheelbase bodies and SE, HSE, Autobiography, SV, SV Ultra and SV Black specifications. The US announcement identifies a curated First Edition. The available launch information does not provide complete option pricing, a global price, prices for other markets, or confirmed delivery dates. Check the local configurator or dealer for current market-specific details.

Range Rover Electric range: WLTP and EPA claims
JLR claims up to 372 miles (WLTP) for the UK and up to 333 miles (EPA) for the US. The UK announcement also gives a separate manufacturer estimate of up to 333 miles (535 km) in real-world use. The EPA and WLTP ratings come from different test cycles and cannot be compared as though they were measured on the same basis; none of these figures is an independent road-test result.

Battery, charging and powertrain specifications
JLR describes a usable 118.5 kWh battery with 344 prismatic cells, a double-stacked layout and an 800-volt architecture. The powertrain uses two 260 kW permanent-magnet electric motors. Published power and torque figures differ by market and unit system:

For DC fast charging, Range Rover states that charging from 10% to 80% takes 22 minutes under its stated conditions. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently measured result. The US product page also describes AC charging: it states a 0–100% charge using a 19.2 kW AC charger and gives 15 hours using a 9.6 kW AC charger. Charging time in practice depends on the charger and electrical supply, battery temperature and state of charge, and other conditions. Performance and water-wading claims
Range Rover quotes 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds in its UK launch material. JLR says the vehicle can wade through up to 900 mm of water (35 inches). These are manufacturer claims; the available launch information does not include independent instrumented performance or capability tests. It also does not establish model-specific towing capacity, payload, ground clearance or trail performance, so those figures should be confirmed against an official specification for the relevant market and configuration.
Is this an independent review?
No. The launch information establishes announced specifications, pricing and order status, but does not include independent driving impressions, instrumented tests or confirmed delivery timing. JLR describes rapid traction-management response, but that statement is not an independent assessment. A road-test verdict should wait for separately sourced driving evidence.

The official regional Range Rover page and JLR newsroom release provide starting points for model imagery. The US Range Rover Electric page displays imagery alongside model information, and the US launch release includes launch imagery. Confirm image rights and that the vehicle and equipment shown match the intended market: regional pages may depict different specifications, and the official material does not state that images are freely reusable.
