What are Porsche and Manthey planning to build?
Porsche describes an intended expansion into three areas: special models in the “few-off” segment, performance kits and exclusive racetrack experiences. CEO Dr Michael Leiters said the companies were “thinking of special models in the few off-segment, performance kits and exclusive racetrack experiences.” This is a statement of intent, not confirmation that a specific new car or customer offering has launched.
Porsche’s related strategy announcement says the joint offer could range from kits and track experiences to complete vehicle concepts in the few-off segment. Neither release identifies a future model or assigns a numerical production limit to “few-off.” The plans sit within Porsche’s “Home of Sports Cars” framework, which brings together Performance, including Manthey; Exclusiveness, including Sonderwunsch and Exclusive Manufaktur; and Heritage. What does “few-off” mean here?
In this announcement, “few-off” describes a category of planned special models, but Porsche has not defined it with a production number. It should not be read as a disclosed allocation, a confirmed limited edition or evidence that orders are open. The company has not yet said which Porsche models might be involved, how many would be built, or when customers might be able to buy one.
Are Manthey Porsche kits already available?
Manthey kits are an existing product category, distinct from the unannounced future few-off vehicles. Porsche reports that it and Manthey have developed nine joint Manthey Kits since 2020, for the 911 and 718 and, more recently, the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package.

What does Porsche say Manthey brings to the partnership?
Porsche describes Manthey as having 30 years of GT expertise. In its 2026 announcement, Porsche also cites seven overall Nürburgring 24-hour race victories, six Le Mans class wins, and several FIA World Endurance Championship titles and DTM championships. These are figures published by Porsche, rather than independently corroborated results in the cited announcements.

Manthey joint Managing Director Nicolas Raeder called the increased shareholding “a personal mark of appreciation.” His fellow Managing Director Martin Raeder said closer cooperation would help the companies use existing synergies and strengthen the connection between motorsport and production cars.
