Felipe Nasr drove all three winning entries, but the teams around him changed from year to year. The 2026 victory, on January 25, came by just 1.569 seconds after 705 laps.
How Porsche Penske’s three-peat unfolded
The run belongs to Porsche Penske Motorsport as a team: three consecutive overall victories in the Rolex 24 At Daytona. The winning car was the No. 7 Porsche 963 in each race, but the driver lineups were not identical.
| Race | Winning entry | Drivers |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 | Dane Cameron, Felipe Nasr, Matt Campbell and Josef Newgarden |
| 2025 | No. 7 Porsche 963 | Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor |
| 2026 | No. 7 Porsche 963 | Felipe Nasr, Julien Andlauer and Laurin Heinrich |
IMSA’s official 2024 results and Rolex’s event report confirm the first win and its four-driver lineup. IMSA’s reports cover the 2025 victory and the 2026 result.
Nasr’s individual streak is separate from the team record
Nasr was the common driver in all three winning cars, making his own three-win streak possible even as his co-drivers changed. IMSA identifies him as the third driver to win three consecutive Rolex 24 overall victories, after Helio Castroneves (2021–2023) and Peter Gregg (1973, 1975–1976). Gregg’s sequence spans four calendar years because the race was not held in 1974, as Porsche’s 2026 race account notes.

That distinction matters: Porsche Penske’s achievement is a team three-peat, while Nasr’s is a driver streak. It was not the same four-person crew winning together every year.
The 2026 finish was close, despite a long fog delay
IMSA reported that the No. 7 Porsche finished 1.569 seconds ahead of the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R. The winning Porsche led 375 of the 705 laps completed, and Jack Aitken mounted multiple late charges for Cadillac. The margin came after a race disrupted by nine full-course cautions, including an overnight caution lasting six hours and 33 minutes because of dense fog.

The numbers and race details come from IMSA’s January 25, 2026 report. Porsche gives the race distance as 2,509.8 miles in its account of the victory.
Three overall wins did not mean a sweep of every class
The Rolex 24 awards results across multiple classes. Porsche Penske’s streak was in the overall and GTP result, not all four classes. In 2026, the class winners beyond GTP were:

Team Penske chairman and team owner Roger Penske called three consecutive Daytona 24-hour victories “an incredible accomplishment” in IMSA’s January 25, 2026 report. The result closed a three-year run in which the same No. 7 Porsche 963 entry won overall, with Nasr driving each time and different teammates sharing the car.
