That is about 4.85 911s for every Taycan—close enough to describe as five times as many, but not a full-year 2026 result.
How many 911s and Taycans did Porsche deliver?
Porsche AG reported the following worldwide customer deliveries for January–September 2026:

| Model | Deliveries | Year-over-year change |
|---|---|---|
| Porsche 911 | 42,217 | Up 12% |
| Porsche Taycan | 8,699 | Down 31% |
The counts and year-over-year changes are from Porsche AG’s nine-month 2026 delivery report. Dividing the 911 total by the Taycan total gives approximately 4.85; that ratio is calculated from Porsche’s figures rather than separately reported by the company.
Why the gap is nearly five to one
The reported gap reflects movement in both model lines: 911 deliveries increased 12% compared with January–September 2025, while Taycan deliveries fell 31%. Those figures describe the delivery counts; they do not establish why customers chose either model or prove a change in buyer preferences.

These are global deliveries, not U.S. sales
The totals cover Porsche AG’s worldwide customer deliveries from January through September 2026. They are not full-calendar-year figures and should not be described as U.S. sales: Porsche Cars North America reports U.S. retail sales separately, using a different geography and measure.
