A woman died after her vehicle veered off Brookton Highway and hit a tree near Ashendon Road in Lesley, Western Australia, on 13 December 2018. The West Australian reported that she was the vehicle’s sole occupant. Its headline described a person trapped, but the report does not explain how she was freed.

The West Australian reported that the crash happened just after 6am at the intersection of Brookton Highway and Ashendon Road in Lesley. The woman’s vehicle veered off the highway and struck a tree. She died, and no other occupant was reported.
