Pebble Flow is an all-electric travel trailer, not a self-driving tow vehicle or a driverless camper. Its automation is for tasks such as powered positioning, hitching assistance, and waste disposal; a person still drives the tow vehicle on the road. Pebble’s Auto Dump system is designed to handle a tank-dumping sequence through the app, using a pre-connected hose, maceration, and a gray-water rinse.
What “self-driving” means for Pebble Flow
The phrase “self-driving camper” can suggest autonomous road travel, but Pebble’s product materials describe a towable trailer with powered positioning and towing-related assistance. Flow’s listed features include dual-motor tow assist, Remote Control, Magic Hitch, InstaCamp, Auto Dump, battery power, and app connectivity. Pebble says Magic Pack is required for the dual-motor tow-assist functionality. These features do not establish that the trailer drives itself on public roads or that it can operate without a driver in the tow vehicle. Pebble’s Flow product page

Automation and power features
- Dual-motor tow assist: A powered assistance feature; Pebble says Magic Pack is required for this functionality.
- Remote Control and Magic Hitch: Listed features for positioning and hitching assistance. Pebble’s FAQ says Magic Hitch detects a standard 2-inch hitch ball; confirm compatibility and what equipment is included for a specific order.
- InstaCamp: A listed setup feature.
- App connectivity: The app is used to control functions including Auto Dump.
How Auto Dump is described to work
According to Pebble’s FAQ, the user places the pre-connected hose in the sewer inlet, then starts Auto Dump in the Pebble App. Pebble says the system opens the tanks in sequence, uses a three-stage macerating system to pump waste through a compact hose, and rinses the black tank with recycled gray water. The FAQ describes a 20-foot flexible hose integrated into the wet bay. Pebble’s FAQ
Pebble describes the gray-water rinse as a way to reuse water and reduce water use. Those are manufacturer claims, not independent performance or environmental test results. Auto Dump automates parts of the disposal process; it does not establish that sanitation precautions, proper sewer connections, or care in handling waste can be skipped.

Availability has changed across Pebble’s dated materials
In its June 30, 2025 delivery announcement, Pebble called Auto Dump a one-touch, “touch-less” system and said it debuted as an exclusive Founders Edition feature. Pebble’s June 30, 2025 announcement The order page observed on October 5, 2026 listed Auto Dump as a standard feature across its displayed configurations. Because those statements reflect different points in the product rollout, check with Pebble to confirm the feature is included in the specific configuration you are considering.
Weight, capacity, and towing checks
Pebble’s product page lists a dry weight of 5,800 lb and a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 6,800 lb. It also lists a net carrying capacity of 1,000 lb and a tongue weight of 680 lb. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not a personal determination that a particular vehicle can tow Flow. Pebble’s Flow product page

Before buying, check the tow vehicle manufacturer’s ratings for your exact vehicle and configuration. Account for the trailer’s loaded weight, tongue weight, vehicle payload, passengers, cargo, and any other applicable towing limits. Do not rely on a generic statement that an EV can tow it: the manufacturer’s towing capacity and the vehicle’s actual loaded condition determine whether a pairing is suitable.

Pebble lists a 45 kWh LFP battery and says Flow can provide up to seven days of off-grid capability. The company’s product page does not define a universal usage profile for that duration, so it should not be treated as a guaranteed trip length for every owner or set of conditions. The same page lists a 40-gallon fresh-water tank, a 37-gallon gray-water tank, and an 18-gallon black-water tank. Pebble’s Flow product page
Configurations and delivery estimates
On Pebble’s order page as observed on October 5, 2026, the displayed configurations were Founders Edition, Magic Pack, and Standard. The page described Founders Edition as fully loaded, showed a two-week estimated delivery, gave Magic Pack an estimated delivery window of two to ten weeks, and labeled Standard a future model. These are dated page listings, not guaranteed delivery dates or assurances of future availability. Pebble’s order page
The page also displayed monthly payment figures, but those do not establish a reliable current comparison of total purchase prices or financing terms. Confirm a current written quote, configuration contents, availability, and delivery estimate directly with Pebble before making a purchase decision.
What the launch announcement adds
Pebble announced deliveries to its earliest customers on June 30, 2025. In that announcement, founder and CEO Bingrui Yang said, “Delivering a Pebble Flow to our earliest customers and believers is a defining moment for our team.” CTO Stefan Solyom said, “We didn’t just slap a button on the old system; we rebuilt the entire experience.” These are company statements about the product launch, not independent assessments of performance.
