The PKR 80,000 PAVE subsidy was a phase-specific offer for self-financed electric two-wheelers—not a universal discount on any EV. Pakistan announced registration in September 2025 and held its first ballot in October 2025. As of October 8, 2026, the official notices cited here do not confirm that a new consumer application window is open.
Is PAVE registration open now?
Registration for the first phase was announced on September 3, 2025, with applicants directed to the official PAVE portal. The first e-balloting followed on October 1, 2025. Those dates establish that registration opened then; they do not establish that applications are open now. The government’s October 2025 release reported 269,161 applications, 40,000 qualified applicants, and allocations of 40,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,000 three-wheelers. The latest located Phase-II notice is an Engineering Development Board (EDB) prequalification process for manufacturers, published September 9, 2026, with a September 24, 2026 deadline. It concerns vendors and models, not a consumer application reopening. An expired manufacturer deadline does not prove whether the consumer portal is open or closed. Check for a fresh announcement from the Ministry of Industries and Production or the official PAVE portal before sharing personal or financial information. Who can get the PKR 80,000 subsidy?
In the October 2025 first-phase balloting announcement, the government listed PKR 80,000 for a self-financed two-wheeler and PKR 50,000 for a two-wheeler bought through bank leasing. The same notice listed PKR 400,000 for a self-financed three-wheeler and PKR 200,000 for a leased three-wheeler. A separate State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) financing circular sets terms for its financing scheme, including a capital subsidy of up to PKR 50,000 per financed two-wheeler. That ceiling is not the same offer as the PKR 80,000 self-finance amount in the PAVE balloting announcement. SBP’s circular says e-bike applicants must be 18–65 and citizens in Pakistan, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It reserves at least 25% of the financed-scheme e-bike allocation for women and caps the business-use quota at 10%. Check the current phase’s own terms rather than combining criteria from different schemes or phases. SBP financing circular, 2025.

How to check a PAVE balloting result
- Open the official PAVE portal at pave.gov.pk.
- Use the portal’s notification or result-checking option and enter your CNIC or application ID, as directed by the October 2025 government notice.
- Rely on the portal or a government announcement for your status. Do not treat a message or unofficial website as confirmation of selection.
The October 2025 release said applicants could check notifications through the portal using CNIC or application ID. Portal labels and availability may change between phases. Press Information Department, October 2025.

A scheme subsidy does not by itself establish that a particular vehicle is approved, available, or a good fit for your use. The September 2026 EDB Phase-II notice required manufacturers to offer at least one model within a PKR 250,000 price cap and assessed production, inventory, supply chain, and service. That was a manufacturer prequalification requirement, not proof that a specific model passed or is currently offered to consumers. - Read the battery and vehicle warranty terms, and identify who provides service and handles warranty claims.
- Ask the dealer or manufacturer for practical details that matter to your commute, such as range, charging time, and battery replacement terms. The official material cited here does not independently compare range, charging time, battery life in use, reliability, or total ownership cost.
- Confirm your application route, eligibility, quota, subsidy amount, and how payment or financing is handled in the current phase.
A separate informational site, PAVE.pk, publishes a form guide and document suggestions, but it is not the government source. Treat items it lists—such as CNIC, domicile, income proof, photograph, and bank IBAN—as unconfirmed for current official enrollment unless the Ministry or PAVE portal specifies them. PAVE.pk.
What the scheme’s headline impact figures mean
SBP’s 2025 financing circular planned approximately 116,000 e-bikes and 3,170 e-rickshaws or loaders for FY 2025–26. Those are planned allocations under the financing scheme, not proof of actual deliveries. SBP financing circular, 2025.
