A client-commissioned Cybertruck lookalike built in Gujranwala by engineer and artisan Wali Muhammad drew viral attention on social media. Mughal Safeguard, the company behind the project, reported that this one build cost Rs3 million and had been delivered to the client.
Who built the Pakistani Cybertruck replica?
Reports by The Express Tribune and Aaj English TV identify Wali Muhammad as the engineer or artisan who built the vehicle. The work was carried out through Mughal Safeguard at its Sialkot Road, Civil Lines branch in Gujranwala.

Why was it built, and what did it cost?
A client approached Mughal Safeguard wanting a car similar in appearance to the Cybertruck. A company spokesperson told The Express Tribune: “The client wanted a car similar to the Cybertruck, so they reached out to us. Our artisan, Wali Muhammad, built the car for Rs3 million.” Aaj English TV reported the same statement; neither outlet names the spokesperson.
Mughal Safeguard said the vehicle had been delivered to the client. The Rs3 million figure is the company’s reported cost for this particular commissioned build in 2025, not a published price list or an estimate for another project.

Is it a real Tesla Cybertruck?
No. The reports describe a locally built replica or lookalike, not a vehicle manufactured by Tesla. Its resemblance to the Cybertruck does not establish that it uses Tesla components or shares the original’s materials, electric drivetrain, performance, safety features, or engineering.
What is known about its construction?
The available reports do not specify the replica’s chassis, donor vehicle, construction materials, drivetrain, build duration, or results of an independent inspection. They also do not establish its road-legal status. Without those details, it is not possible to assess its mechanical specification or compare its capability with Tesla’s vehicle.

Why did the replica go viral?
Coverage says the unusual Cybertruck-style vehicle attracted attention on social media, where some users called it the “Pakistani Tesla.” The reports do not provide a verified view count or audience figure, so the scale of its reach cannot be quantified from that coverage.

The Express Tribune’s January 23, 2025 report described Tesla’s Cybertruck as a stainless-steel electric pickup and cited a starting price of $80,000. That is a dated figure reported by the outlet, not a verified current price. It provides context for the vehicle that inspired the replica; it does not establish that the Gujranwala build shares the original’s materials or technology.
