Why did Pak Suzuki raise the price?
Business Recorder reported that Pak Suzuki attributed the July revision to government-imposed taxes and levies, including the new NEV levy in the 2025–26 budget. The company’s circular said: “No impact of an increase in financial economic cost has been transferred to the customer. The price revision solely reflects the increase in government-imposed taxes and levies.” This is Pak Suzuki’s stated rationale, not an independently established breakdown of the price change.
