The Overkill T.K.4.7 is a compact, two-sleeper squaredrop whose rear tailgate and passenger-side wall open to the campsite. A 2019 report put it at 13 feet long and about 1,100 pounds dry, with a 78-by-46-inch bed. Its appeal is an open-air camp setup without a large trailer footprint—not a room that mechanically expands.
How the T.K.4.7 opens up at camp
New Atlas’s May 31, 2019 report describes two large openings: the rear tailgate door swings open, and the passenger-side wall flips up. With those panels open, the trailer faces the campsite from the sleeping area, giving it a breezier feel than its closed, squaredrop shape suggests.
A removable pop-out bed-frame panel converts the bed into a seat, letting occupants sit up and look outside through the openings. The reported design is about opening doors and reconfiguring the bed, rather than extending the trailer into a larger living room. Size, sleeping space and reported weight
New Atlas reported a total length of 13 feet (4 m), a dry weight of approximately 1,100 pounds (500 kg), and a 100-pound tongue weight in a photo caption. The bed measures 78 by 46 inches (198 by 117 cm), and the trailer is described as sleeping two.

These are historical reported figures, not a substitute for weighing a particular trailer. Options, equipment, later modifications and cargo can change the weight and tongue load. Before towing, use the actual trailer’s current loaded weight and tongue weight, and compare them with the tow vehicle’s ratings.

Reported options and show-build upgrades
The report lists a front-mounted kitchen slide and an under-bed Dometic fridge drawer as options, along with solar charging hardware, a Honda generator, cabin heater and air conditioner. The Overland Expo example pictured in the article had upgrades including the fridge drawer, Zarges storage boxes and a swing-away spare-tire carrier. Those show-build additions should not be mistaken for standard equipment.

Reported off-road hardware
The 2019 article describes Timbren 3500HD Axle-Less suspension, Vision Raptor wheels, BFGoodrich KO2 285/75/R16 all-terrain tires, tube fenders, integrated front rock sliders, electric brakes, an articulating hitch and a Raptor-coated frame. Treat that list as a report about the model at the time, not a current build sheet or assurance that a used or modified example still has those components.
Price and current availability
New Atlas reported a starting price of US$18,900 before options in 2019. That is a historical price, not a current quote. The available evidence does not establish whether the T.K.4.7 is currently in production, what it costs today, or whether factory support is available.

A third-party listing for a used 2020 example represents one seller’s trailer; it cannot establish current factory availability or a representative market value. The current Overkill page located for the brand concerns Adrenalin Industries truck beds and builds, rather than T.K.4.7 camper specifications. Overkill’s current site and the third-party listing search do not resolve those open questions.

- Confirm the specific trailer’s loaded weight and tongue weight rather than relying on the 2019 dry-weight and caption figures.
- Check the trailer’s current equipment and condition, including suspension, tires, brakes, hitch, battery and any optional appliances.
- Verify the tire and wheel requirements on that trailer before buying replacements; the reported KO2 size is 285/75/R16, but a particular trailer may differ.
- Measure the sleeping area against the needs of its occupants: the reported bed is 78 by 46 inches.
- Ask the seller to document the installed options and any modifications, especially when comparing price or assessing whether a fridge, heater or air conditioner is included.
