The Oben Rorr EZ did launch with an introductory price of ₹89,999 ex-showroom, but that was a limited-period offer announced in November 2024—not a verified current price. Oben’s current page is for the later Rorr EZ Sigma, whose displayed offer prices are ₹1,16,374 and ₹1,26,374 before several on-road charges. So “cheaper than an iPhone” is a historical headline comparison, not a reliable statement about what the bike costs today.
What the Rorr EZ is—and why the version matters
Oben announced the original Rorr EZ on November 7, 2024, as a city-commuting electric motorcycle with 2.6, 3.4, and 4.4 kWh battery variants. The manufacturer said each version could reach 95 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds, with up to 175 km of IDC range. What “cheaper than an iPhone” means
Oben’s November 2024 launch announcement put the original EZ’s introductory starting price at ₹89,999 ex-showroom for a limited period. The announcement does not establish that price as a current offer or transaction price. Nor does it identify an iPhone model for a like-for-like price comparison. In July 2025, Oben announced Amazon India bookings for the original EZ’s 3.4 and 4.4 kWh variants at historical offer prices of ₹1,19,999 and ₹1,29,999, respectively, describing them as including a ₹20,000 offer. As accessed October 5, 2026, Oben’s current Rorr EZ Sigma product page displayed offer prices of ₹1,16,374 for the 3.4 kWh variant and ₹1,26,374 for the 4.4 kWh variant. The page says those prices exclude insurance, road tax, state subsidy, and registration charges, and that offers are subject to discounts and partner offers. How to interpret range and charging
IDC range is not a real-world commute guarantee
The original EZ’s “up to 175 km” and the Sigma’s 140 km and 175 km figures are manufacturer-stated IDC ranges. They are not independent measurements of distance in everyday riding. The reviewed product information does not establish a real-world range for a particular route, speed, load, or riding style.

Charging claims are version-specific
For the original EZ, Oben advertised 80% charging in 45 minutes. For the Sigma, Oben currently displays 0–80% times of 1 hour 30 minutes for the 3.4 kWh version and 2 hours for the 4.4 kWh version. These are different published claims for different versions; check the exact variant and charging conditions with Oben before relying on a timing estimate. Use the charger designed for the bike

Features and standard warranty on the Sigma
Oben’s current Sigma page lists a 5-inch colour TFT and reverse mode, alongside variant-specific range and charging figures. It lists standard battery and motor warranty of three years or 40,000 km. The page also describes optional T8 and T5 battery plans and Charger Protect; review the current product terms for details rather than assuming they match earlier EZ offers. Current Sigma page
Protect 8/80: an optional, time-limited offer
In April 2025, Oben announced its Protect 8/80 plan for ₹9,999, describing battery coverage for eight years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first, and saying the plan was transferable. Oben’s FAQ said existing EZ customers could upgrade by May 31, 2025, while new customers could purchase within three months of delivery. Those eligibility windows are historical; confirm availability and terms directly with Oben before treating the plan as an option. Oben FAQ
