A two-car crash at Morley Drive and Flinders Street in Nollamara shortly before 11:30am on 11 August 2024 left one driver trapped after a car struck a barrier and power pole, then rolled onto its roof. Firefighters freed the driver, Western Power attended to secure a damaged powerline, and one person was taken to Royal Perth Hospital as a precaution.
What happened at the Nollamara intersection
PerthNow reporter Lisa Thomas reported that two cars collided at the intersection of Morley Drive and Flinders Street shortly before 11:30am on 11 August 2024. One vehicle was pushed into a metal barrier and a power pole before overturning onto its roof, trapping its driver. PerthNow’s report is the source for the incident details.
