The Nissan Interstar camper van announced by Nissan Germany in 2026 is the Eifelland Relax, based on the all-electric Interstar-e. The announcement does not confirm a diesel version of the Relax. Nissan sells diesel and electric Interstar base vehicles, but that does not mean Eifelland offers its camper conversion with both powertrains.
Is the Eifelland Relax electric or diesel?
Nissan Germany’s 28 July 2026 announcement identifies the Relax as a campervan based on the all-electric Nissan Interstar-e. It says Eifelland would present the van at Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, running from 28 August to 6 September 2026. That establishes an electric Relax announcement; the release does not say that a diesel Relax is available.
Nissan’s broader Interstar range includes diesel and electric base vehicles. Those options should not be confused with the powertrain confirmed for this particular conversion: buyers considering a diesel camper should verify directly with Eifelland or an authorized retailer whether one is offered.
What does the announced Relax cost?
Nissan Germany published a starting price of €89,900 including German VAT for the Eifelland Relax in its 2026 announcement. This is an announced starting price, not a current confirmed quote or a price guaranteed for every configuration. The release does not establish current order availability or the countries where the conversion can be purchased.

Nissan Germany’s technical listing gives figures for the 3.5-tonne L3H1 platform-chassis base vehicle. They are not payload or towing specifications for a completed Relax; conversion equipment affects the finished vehicle, whose own registration and approval determine its permitted limits.

How far can the electric camper travel?
Nissan UK advertises up to 283 miles of range for the electric Interstar base vehicle. That is a UK manufacturer headline, not an Eifelland Relax range figure or an independently measured real-world result. The official pages cited here do not provide a Relax-specific range estimate or test.
