To see what the new XPENG X9 looks like, start with XPENG’s official global X9 gallery, which groups exterior, color, cabin, seating and feature imagery. XPENG describes the vehicle as a seven-seat MPV. The gallery is useful for viewing the design, but its images are not a guarantee that every pictured feature or color is offered in every market.
Where to see new XPENG X9 pictures
XPENG’s official global model page is the primary source for X9 pictures. Its gallery is organized under “Starship Exterior Design,” “Colors Inspired by the Cosmos” and “Starship First-Class Cabin.” It includes exterior and cabin imagery, seating and rear-cabin views, and technology and safety features. XPENG calls the exterior a “Futuristic coupe style MPV with ultra low drag coefficient”; that is the manufacturer’s description, not an independent assessment.
For a quick visual tour, look through the gallery in this order:
- Exterior views to see the overall shape and styling.
- The color section for the named exterior finishes.
- Cabin and seating images, including the second and third rows.
- Technology and safety feature images.
The page does not provide a complete text description of each image’s camera angle or the trim shown. Avoid assigning an image to a specific regional version or option package unless that is confirmed for the vehicle pictured.

XPENG X9 colors shown in the gallery
XPENG names six exterior colors and three cabin colors on its global page:
- Exterior: Midnight Black, Arctic White, Lambent Cyan, Silver Frost, Polar Violet and Matte Gray.
- Cabin: Meteorite Black, Rose Brown and Coffee.
Use a color name as a caption only when the image actually shows that finish. XPENG cautions that its page visuals are for general reference and that availability can vary by market, so the gallery should not be treated as confirmation that every color can be ordered everywhere.

XPENG’s global page says: “The features, specifications, design, and visuals displayed on this page are for general reference only.” It also notes that some features shown or described may be optional and that actual configurations can vary by market. A pictured feature should not be presented as standard equipment without checking the specification for the relevant market and version.
The page does not state a reuse license for its images. Their appearance on XPENG’s website does not by itself grant permission to download and republish them; image rights need to be confirmed separately.

Which 2026 XPENG X9 is shown?
“2026 X9” does not identify one universal specification. XPENG publishes different versions for China and Australia, including range-extended and battery-electric models in China and two locally specified battery-electric variants in Australia. Do not attach Australian prices or equipment to China-market photos without confirming the pictured vehicle’s regional specification.
China: 2026 range-extended X9
XPENG China’s 2026 configuration table lists the 1602 Max, 1602 Ultra SE and 1602 Ultra, each with seven seats. It gives dimensions of 5,316 × 1,988 × 1,785 mm and a 3,160 mm wheelbase. For these listed trims, XPENG states 1,602 km combined range and 452 km electric range on the CLTC test cycle.

China: 2026 battery-electric X9
In a 2 March 2026 announcement, XPENG said the battery-electric X9 launched alongside its second-generation VLA rollout. The company claims up to 750 km of range, eight minutes to add 400 km, and combined energy consumption of 15.9 kWh/100 km on the CLTC cycle. It also lists 800V/5C charging, a Turing AI chip, three-row electrically folding seats and up to 2,514 litres of maximum storage. These are XPENG’s China-market claims, not independent test results.

- Dedicated mounting spaces are available for lights and other vehicle fittings to match various configurations.
- Direct external flow into the front compartment. Some models feature adjustable opening and closing structures.
- The overall shape fits the vehicle body and regulates fluid flow during travel.
- It is a core front part with stylized shapes and unique visual features.
- The grid forms a protective layer to block road debris and avoid direct contact with internal components.
Australia: 2026-market launch
XPENG Australia’s announcement of 21 July 2026 lists two variants, with prices before on-road costs:

Keep the market, powertrain and test cycle attached to every figure. China’s CLTC range figures and Australia’s WLTP figures come from different cycles and should not be compared as if they were measured on the same basis. When checking a specific X9, identify its market and trim, then compare the powertrain, range test cycle, battery and charging details, seating and cargo equipment, and price in the relevant currency. All figures above are manufacturer-published claims or specifications, not third-party test results.
