The key buying caveat is its range: two launch reports give different maximum figures, so check Kia’s current UK specification before relying on either.
UK price, orders and delivery
Kia UK lists the EV3 GT from £48,695. Kia’s page offers a test-drive action, and Electrive reported on 1 October 2026 that UK orders had opened, with deliveries scheduled during the remainder of 2026. Availability and pricing can change, so confirm both with a Kia dealer.

For context, Kia’s UK page lists starting prices of £31,555 for Air, £37,955 for GT-Line and £43,055 for GT-Line S. These are live manufacturer listings, not a like-for-like comparison of equipment.
At the time Kia’s page was reviewed, a finance offer dated 1 October to 15 December 2026 advertised 3.9% representative APR and a PCP deposit contribution of up to £2,000 for GT-Line and £3,000 for GT-Line S. The GT was not listed as eligible for those contributions. Kia also stated that the Electric Car Grant applied to Air or GT-Line, not GT. What the EV3 GT adds
The GT’s main mechanical distinction is its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Kia quotes 288bhp and 0–62mph in 5.7 seconds; Electrive gives the equivalent output as 215kW and lists torque at 468Nm. The UK offer is reported as a single specification, with paint choice the only customer option.
GT-specific equipment listed by Kia UK includes 20-inch alloy wheels, neon brake calipers and cabin trim, artificial suede and leather upholstery, active sound design, Virtual Gear Shift, a performance timer, GT drive-mode control and electronically controlled suspension. Kia’s UK specification is the appropriate reference for what is offered here; equipment described in Kia’s reference brochure for another market may differ. Kia UK EV3 page

Range and charging: check the figure before you buy
Published maximum-range figures conflict. Auto Express reports 311 miles for the EV3 GT and says its dual motors and grippier tyres reduce range compared with higher-spec non-GT EV3s, for which it quotes 375 miles. Electrive reports up to 334 miles WLTP for the GT. Neither report resolves the discrepancy, so there is no single figure here to treat as definitive. Ask a Kia dealer for the current UK GT specification or consult Kia’s latest UK pricing and specification document before comparing range.
Auto Express reports a 10–80% charge in 31 minutes. Kia says EV3 DC fast charging takes approximately 31 minutes, with actual time dependent on factors including battery temperature, weather and charger capability. Kia also describes home charging using a wallbox. A specific wallbox choice depends on the home’s electrical supply, installation and charger compatibility. Kia UK EV3 page

What the £49,000 proposition means
The EV3 GT costs more than the entry EV3 versions in return for substantially higher quoted power, AWD and its GT chassis and software features. Auto Express says the GT is slower from 0–62mph than the Volvo EX30 Performance and Smart #1 Brabus, but the available launch information does not establish a complete like-for-like comparison of prices, range, equipment, finance or driving experience. There is also no independent test evidence here to settle how the GT’s suspension balances handling and ride comfort on UK roads.

Kia’s UK product page states a seven-year/100,000-mile manufacturer warranty. Electrive reports an eight-year battery warranty; check Kia’s UK warranty booklet and the precise terms applying to the GT before purchase. Kia UK EV3 page Electrive, 1 October 2026
