Citroën introduced the OUTDOOR trim for the C3 and C3 Aircross on 22 September 2026. Positioned above MAX, it adds model-specific bumpers, red accents, 17-inch wheels and a distinctive cabin. The official Citroën UK OUTDOOR range page links to the individual C3 and C3 Aircross pages for the manufacturer’s photos.
Citroën C3 OUTDOOR: what to look for in the pictures
The C3 is the compact, city-oriented hatchback. In front views, look for its more angular, structured bumper and grey lower insert, which Citroën says evokes an SUV skid plate. Infra Rouge vertical clips add colour at the front, while red detailing also appears on the Citroën emblems.
Side views show a grey lower-door insert embossed with OUTDOOR and Migoo, plus a model-specific angular 17-inch wheel design. Citroën UK describes the C3 OUTDOOR with 17-inch matt-finish wheels and Advanced Comfort seats on its C3 product page.
Citroën C3 Aircross OUTDOOR: what looks different
The C3 Aircross is the larger, family-oriented model. Its front bumper has its own angular design, and the lower section incorporates LED fog lights. As on the C3, grey protective-looking trim and Infra Rouge accents distinguish the OUTDOOR appearance.

In side and rear views, look for the embossed OUTDOOR and Migoo door insert, the Aircross-specific 17-inch wheels and functional floating roof bars. Citroën UK highlights the roof bars, diamond-cut matt-finish wheels and Advanced Comfort seats on the C3 Aircross product page. The roof bars are a practical visual difference from the hatchback, not just a styling detail.
OUTDOOR interior pictures: seats, trim and red details
Both models share a dedicated cabin treatment. The Advanced Comfort seats have graphic-patterned surfaces and Migoo embroidery laser-applied to the front seatbacks. Infra Rouge stitching appears on the seats, armrest and door panels; the dashboard has an OUTDOOR fabric insert, and the seatbelts are red.

These are descriptions of the trim and materials shown by Citroën, not a driving assessment of seat comfort. The UK electric-model pages also list equipment such as heated seats and a heated steering wheel for the ë-C3 Aircross OUTDOOR, but that should not be assumed to apply to every petrol, hybrid or electric version.

The range figures are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. Citroën’s announcement does not provide enough detail here to treat them as directly comparable test outcomes.

OUTDOOR colours and market availability
Citroën’s 22 September 2026 announcement names Sequoia Green as the new colour, alongside Perla Nera Black, Mercury Grey, Banquise White and Bright Blue. It does not establish that every colour is offered with every powertrain or in every market. Check the current local configurator for the exact combinations available where you live.

Citroën describes OUTDOOR as a new top-of-range trim above MAX for the C3 and C3 Aircross, as part of an OUTDOOR family that also includes Ami. In its announcement, Citroën says the models “immediately make their mark thanks to a range of exclusive features.”

The announcement is dated 22 September 2026 and uses French-market terminology, including “110 ch.” It does not establish UK prices, the UK order-opening date or identical equipment across all markets and powertrains. The UK pages provide information for the electric models; for example, the ë-C3 Aircross page lists specific bumpers, skid plates, a glossy black tailgate bar, Infra Red logos and door decals, roof bars, heated equipment and LED front fog lights. Confirm the specification for the exact version before relying on those details.
