NCR’s Millona 16, or M16, is an exceptionally specialized, made-to-order motorcycle—but the available evidence does not prove it is the most exclusive motorcycle on the planet. NCR says it builds the M16 only on request and lists its price as “ON REQUEST”; it does not publish a production total or comparative data to substantiate a global ranking.
What the NCR M16 is
NCR introduced the Millona 16, abbreviated M16, in 2010. Its introduction names the Ducati DD16RR as the bike’s basis, while a contemporaneous 2010 feature by Don Williams, published by Ultimate MotorCycling and hosted on NCR’s site, describes donor Ducati Desmosedici RR engines. Those descriptions establish the model’s Ducati foundation; they do not document the provenance of any particular M16.
NCR announced the M16’s official press launch for June 10, 2010. Its launch material also positioned the bike as “the most exclusive motorcycle in the world,” a promotional claim rather than a verified comparison. NCR’s M16 introduction and the October 2010 feature provide the model’s historical context.
What makes it unusual
NCR’s technical specification describes a motorcycle built around extensive lightweight and racing-oriented components rather than a conventional mass-produced streetbike. The company lists an NCR carbon-fiber frame and swingarm, carbon bodywork and fuel components, carbon wheels, titanium fasteners and exhaust, Öhlins suspension, and racing brakes. The listed electronics include adjustable traction control, data acquisition, telemetry, and up to three selectable maps.

- Clear parts are included to recreate windshield (no cementing required) and tank grips.
- Synthetic rubber parts recreate racing slick tires.
- Use of minute screws to attach parts gives precise assembly. Front, side and tail cowls, plus tank cover can be removed after assembly. Tail cowl-mounted camera is depicted using separate parts.
- Decals are included to recreate the No. 93 motorcycle ridden by 2014 champion Marc Marquez.
NCR’s component list also includes a six-speed lightened gearbox, an NCR CORSE slipper clutch, an AIM MXL PISTA dashboard, and Metzeler Racetec tyres. These are manufacturer-listed specifications; the cited material is not an independent inspection or road test.

Is it really the most exclusive motorcycle?
“Most exclusive” depends on what is being compared. NCR’s strongest concrete evidence is its statement that the M16 “will be manufactured only on request.” Its technical page also gives the price as “ON REQUEST,” and the 2010 feature characterizes the motorcycle as build-to-order. That supports describing the M16 as an order-based, highly specialized model.
It does not establish a world record for exclusivity. NCR’s cited pages do not state how many M16s were built, how many owners there are, whether orders are currently being accepted, or how the bike compares with every other limited-production or bespoke motorcycle. Without consistent figures for those candidates, there is no sound basis for naming a definitive global winner.
Rank #3
- The leader in hobby products around the world
- Made using the highest quality components and materials
- Test for durability and safety
How much does an NCR M16 cost, and how many were made?
NCR does not publish a numerical price on the cited technical page; its price field reads “ON REQUEST.” A prospective buyer would need to contact NCR to ask about pricing and build availability. The available manufacturer material does not confirm current order acceptance.
No cited source gives a production count. “Manufactured only on request” describes NCR’s stated production approach, not a number of completed motorcycles. Any precise claim about units built, current value, or present-day availability would go beyond the published evidence.
