MV Agusta is no longer owned by KTM or PIERER Mobility. The transfer of 100% ownership to Art of Mobility closed on July 9, 2025, ending the ownership relationship while clarifying who controls the Italian motorcycle maker.
Who owns MV Agusta now?
Art of Mobility S.A. owns MV Agusta. The company said Art of Mobility is controlled by the Sardarov family. MV Agusta announced the completed transfer on July 9, 2025, stating that it returned “100% ownership” to Art of Mobility and reaffirmed the company’s strategic independence. How the separation from KTM unfolded

Why KTM was still involved during the handover
Ownership and day-to-day operational coordination are different things. In June 2025, while the transfer was still being completed, MV Agusta said parts operations were continuing through collaboration with KTM’s logistics network. That temporary arrangement does not mean KTM retained ownership after the July 9 closing.
MV Agusta described its preceding two-year partnership with KTM as contributing to dealer-network development and production technologies.
