Hyundai’s feature matrix lists height-adjustable headrests across all three rows, a 50:50 split and reclining third row, and third-row rear AC vents with three-stage control. It also lists USB charging points for the second and third rows and dual-zone automatic climate control across trims. How to judge third-row comfort before buying
A feature list cannot establish whether the third row will suit your passengers on a long journey. It also cannot tell you whether the ride will feel soft or whether a seat will fit a particular person. Take the exact trim you plan to buy on a test drive and, if possible, bring the usual passengers.
- Have the people most likely to use the third row sit there, rather than judging it while the cabin is empty.
- Check how easily they can reach the row and settle into a comfortable posture.
- Try the second-row sliding and reclining adjustment with all intended passengers aboard, and see whether access and seating still work for your group.
- Test the vehicle on the kinds of roads you regularly travel, paying attention to how each row feels.
What should seven passengers expect for luggage?
Hyundai says the boot can be expanded by folding the rear seats, but the specifications reviewed do not state a numerical boot-volume figure. If you expect to travel with seven occupants and luggage, inspect the boot with all seats in use and bring representative bags. Folding a rear seat for more cargo means giving up some passenger capacity.

Which engines and transmissions are available?
Hyundai lists a 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol and a 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel. The model directory describes manual, automatic and DCT transmission availability, but exact engine-and-gearbox combinations depend on trim. Confirm the current combinations on Hyundai’s live variant listing.
The specification page lists a 50-litre fuel tank and R17 or R18 alloy wheels depending on variant. Hyundai’s statements about ground clearance and ride comfort are manufacturer descriptions, not independent comparative ride measurements.

Has Hyundai announced another seven-seater for India?
The Hyundai India model directory reviewed lists the Alcazar as a six- and seven-seat SUV. It does not confirm a different forthcoming seven-seater, so there is no basis here to describe another model as announced.
