A three-car collision on the Mitchell Freeway northbound, just beyond the Whitfords Avenue on-ramp, closed the left lane during the evening peak on Tuesday, 11 February 2025. PerthNow reported that St John WA was called and that it was understood there were no serious injuries. This is a report of a past incident, not a live traffic update.
What happened on the Mitchell Freeway?
PerthNow reported that three cars collided northbound shortly before 5pm on Tuesday, 11 February 2025, just after the Whitfords Avenue on-ramp. The report was published at 5:47pm AWST that evening.
Were there injuries?
PerthNow said St John WA was called and reported that it was understood there were no serious injuries. The article did not provide a confirmed injury count or attribute that assessment to a named official source.
Which lanes were closed, and how far did traffic back up?
The left lane was closed while towing services attended to clear the scene. Close to 6pm, traffic was backed up past Cedric Street, according to PerthNow. Those details describe the conditions reported on the evening of 11 February 2025, not current freeway conditions.
