What MINI has revealed so far
On October 5, 2026, 365Daily reported that MINI had teased an off-road special edition on Facebook with a blurred image. The outlet interpreted the image as showing a vehicle in difficult terrain and suggested trim-specific equipment, but the teaser does not establish what that equipment is or what the car can do. 365Daily’s report is not a production specification sheet. MotoringFile reported on September 23, 2026, that a Countryman-related world premiere was planned for October, ahead of MINI’s participation in the 2026 Rebelle Rally. The reporting reviewed here does not establish whether that planned reveal has since taken place, when customers can buy the vehicle, or in which markets it will be offered. MotoringFile’s report provides more detail on the rally build, while distinguishing it from production equipment. [c002]
What the Rebelle Rally build tells us—and what it doesn’t
According to MotoringFile, BMW Group engineers prepared the rally vehicle with all-terrain tires, a skid plate, roof and grille lighting, roof cargo equipment supplied by Thule, and other event gear. The report puts the GPS-free rally route at 1,500 miles in 2026; that figure is attributed to MotoringFile, not an official event source in the reporting reviewed here. Rally equipment and competition context do not amount to a consumer-road test or confirm the production Countryman’s capability. [c002]

MotoringFile said General Grabber AT3 tires were expected for the production vehicle, and described a modest lift as expected, but also said the final tire specification and production suspension remained unresolved. Treat both features as unconfirmed reporting, not MINI specifications. The article likewise left the production edition’s ride height, official name, and price above a Countryman S ALL4 unanswered. Will it be more than an appearance package?
That cannot yet be determined from the available reports. A blurred teaser and the equipment on a rally build do not show whether the production edition will receive functional changes, such as revised suspension, greater ride height, protective hardware, or a distinct tire setup. The reporting does not provide a production specification sheet or accessory fitment guide to settle those questions. [c001] [c002]

For buyers, the distinction matters: equipment shown on an event vehicle may be specific to that build, and the reports do not say whether any named item will be standard, optional, or unavailable on the retail model. Thule’s role as supplier for rally roof cargo equipment does not establish compatibility with the production edition. Confirm roof-load limits, mounting hardware, model year, and vehicle-specific fitment before choosing a carrier. [c002]

- Price relative to the Countryman S ALL4, plus retail timing and market availability.
