What Mercedes-Benz has announced
At IAA Mobility on September 5, 2025, Mercedes-Benz described a plan for more than 40 model introductions over 2025–2027, calling it the biggest product offensive in the company’s history. The all-new electric GLC was the event’s headline world premiere. Mercedes-Benz repeated the more-than-40 figure in its 2026 updates, so it is the company’s stated programme—not a verified count of launches already completed. Mercedes-Benz’s IAA Mobility 2025 announcement and its investor updates provide the company’s account.
The figure needs context: company materials use broad language that includes new and refreshed models, variants and different powertrains. The announcements name examples, not a complete, global, model-by-model launch calendar.
Which vehicles are in the programme?
The named examples span Mercedes-Benz’s Entry, Core and Top-End passenger-vehicle ranges as well as vans. The table reflects models and families identified in company announcements; it is not a promise that each is on sale in every market.

In its Q1 2026 report, Mercedes-Benz listed the new S-Class, EQS, GLS and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, the electric C-Class, and new GLE and GLE Coupé among that year’s introductions. Is the plan all-electric?
No. Mercedes-Benz’s announcements pair battery-electric models with electrified combustion offerings. For example, the company said the CLA would be available with an electric drivetrain or a 48-volt electrified combustion engine; its 2026 Q1 update described both all-electric and electrified combustion variants for the CLA and GLB. “Electrified” does not mean every vehicle is a battery-electric vehicle.

When will the vehicles be available?
The overall window is 2025 through 2027, but the company has not provided one complete global schedule in the cited announcements. A premiere, production milestone, order-book opening and customer deliveries are different stages, and a launch in one country does not establish availability elsewhere.
In its Q2 2026 update, Mercedes-Benz said the electric GLA world premiere and start of sales were scheduled for the end of July 2026. That was a company-reported plan, not proof of current availability in every market. The same update reported series production of the electric VLE starting in June 2026 at Vitoria. Check the country-specific Mercedes-Benz site or local dealer for ordering, delivery and model specifications where you live. The company’s U.S. future-vehicle list, for example, is specific to the U.S. and uses U.S. model-year descriptions.

- It is a plan: Mercedes-Benz has announced more than 40 model introductions for 2025–2027 and reiterated the target in 2026 updates. The number is not a final tally of completed launches.
- It is broader than new nameplates: The company’s wording includes new and refreshed models, variants and multiple powertrains.
- It covers different vehicle types: Announced examples include Entry, Core and Top-End passenger vehicles, AMG and Maybach models, and the electric VLE van.
- Local availability varies: The announcements do not establish that every named model will be sold in every country or on the same timetable.
