Contemporary coverage reports a 3.2-liter V6 and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder for the 2022 Cherokee range, both paired with a nine-speed automatic. The X is specifically identified with the V6. The turbocharged engine was a range option, not the documented standard engine for the X.
Which 2022 features were not unique to the X?
The 8.4-inch touchscreen and SiriusXM were described as updates for the 2022 Cherokee lineup, not as X-exclusive equipment. Their presence in coverage of the X should not be taken to mean that Jeep reserved them for this trim. Owner accessories: mats and cargo protection
The 2022 U.S. brochure lists a Mopar Interior Package containing all-weather floor mats and a molded cargo tray.
