Qué muestran las cifras nacionales de septiembre
ANFAC contabilizó 93.858 turismos matriculados en España en septiembre de 2026, un 10,2% más que en septiembre de 2025. Entre enero y septiembre se acumularon 912.059 turismos, un aumento interanual del 6,7%. Por qué aún no se puede señalar qué comunidades tiraron del mercado
Para responder a esa pregunta hacen falta los datos regionales de turismos, tanto en unidades como en variación frente al mismo mes del año anterior. La página de ANFAC identifica un informe específico de turismos y todoterrenos por comunidades para septiembre de 2026, pero el PDF regional enlazado no pudo consultarse en las fuentes disponibles. Por ello no es posible confirmar un ranking de volumen o de crecimiento, ni el acumulado de enero a septiembre por comunidad. ANFAC: informe por comunidades autónomas de septiembre de 2026.

El acumulado de enero a septiembre también mide algo diferente del resultado de un solo mes. Sin la tabla regional correspondiente, asignar posiciones a cada comunidad sería especulativo.

Qué dice —y qué no dice— el dato regional de electrificados
Los turismos eléctricos puros (BEV) e híbridos enchufables (PHEV) sumaron 31.945 matriculaciones en septiembre, equivalentes al 34,04% del mercado mensual de turismos y un 55,99% más que un año antes, según ANFAC. Es un contexto nacional de electrificación, no un desglose regional que explique qué comunidades impulsaron el aumento total.
En otra tabla regional de ANFAC e Ideauto, Madrid aparece con 11.460 vehículos electrificados, el 33,74% del total nacional de esa tabla, que suma 33.963. Pero la tabla incluye turismos, comerciales, industriales, autobuses y cuadriciclos; no representa solo turismos ni permite tratar a Madrid como líder regional en matriculaciones de turismos. Una explicación sectorial, no un desglose regional
Félix García, director de comunicación y marketing de ANFAC, describió el mercado de septiembre como un crecimiento a buen ritmo pese al reinicio de la actividad tras el verano y mencionó el precio de la gasolina, que había superado los dos euros por litro, y unos tipos de interés del 2,5% como factores que no favorecían la demanda. Es la valoración de un portavoz del sector; no demuestra que esos factores causaran una variación concreta en ninguna comunidad ni explica por sí sola el resultado regional.
Qué datos hacen falta para comparar comunidades
Un ranking regional completo debería separar tres lecturas: las unidades de turismos matriculadas en septiembre, su cambio interanual mensual y el total acumulado de enero a septiembre junto con su variación interanual. Un ranking por habitante sería una comparación adicional y requeriría combinar las matriculaciones con datos de población.

La DGT publica microdatos diarios de matriculaciones para septiembre de 2026. Su índice confirma que existen esos archivos, pero no ofrece por sí solo el agregado regional de turismos necesario para verificar quién lideró el mes. DGT: listado de microdatos diarios de matriculaciones.
