Stark Future and Farsoon Technologies announced a plan in November 2024 to develop series production of electric-motorcycle components using large-format metal 3D printing. Titanium was the stated ambition—not equipment already fitted to the Stark VARG. The companies described a manufacturing program, but the announcement did not identify the parts or establish that production later began.
What Stark and Farsoon announced
In an announcement dated November 18, 2024, Farsoon said it would work with Stark Future on product design, process development and volume production of electric-motorcycle components through large-format metal powder bed fusion. The announcement focused on a move toward series production, rather than a one-off demonstration part. It did not specify which components the companies intended to print. Farsoon’s announcement
Stark founder and CEO Anton Wass said the company expected “to be the first automotive manufacturer to mass-produce components in titanium 3D printing.” That is Stark’s stated expectation in 2024, not independent confirmation that it achieved the milestone. Which 3D printer is involved?
Farsoon named its FS721M-H-8-CAMS system for the collaboration. According to the company, the machine has a 720 × 420 × 650 mm build cylinder and eight 1,000 W fiber lasers. Farsoon describes its continuous additive manufacturing setup as using an internal conveyor and exchangeable cartridges to keep the lasers working and reduce downtime between jobs. Metal powder bed fusion builds parts by selectively fusing metal powder in layers. For a motorcycle program, the relevant point is that the announcement tied a large-format machine to a plan for serial component production. The published specifications describe the equipment; they do not show that a particular motorcycle part fits within its build envelope or establish a resulting part’s cost, strength, weight, durability or repairability.
Does the Stark VARG already have titanium 3D-printed parts?
No. New Atlas explicitly noted that the VARG discussed in its 2024 report did not use titanium parts. Any application to a future Stark model was prospective. Neither the Farsoon announcement nor that report names the intended components or confirms that the proposed series-production work went ahead.

New Atlas reported the VARG at 80 hp (60 kW), 938 Nm (692 lb-ft) of rear-wheel torque and 118 kg (260 lb). It compared that published weight with 108 kg (240 lb) for a KTM 450 SX-F. These are figures as reported in 2024, not independently verified current specifications. They help explain why manufacturing choices attract attention on a high-performance electric dirtbike, but they do not prove that printed titanium parts would make the VARG lighter or faster. What could change if the plan reaches production?
The announcement makes the scale of production the central point: Stark and Farsoon said they were pursuing series production, not merely printing a showpiece. Additive manufacturing can make complex geometries without relying on the same tooling and fabrication steps used in conventional manufacturing, which may give designers different ways to shape a component. But the sources do not provide a conventional-versus-printed comparison for any Stark part.

- Performance and mass: No like-for-like measurements establish weight savings, strength, fatigue life or other performance changes.
- Cost and service: The sources give no cost, lifecycle, repairability or replacement-parts comparison.
New Atlas mentioned the Czinger 21C as a separate automotive example, reporting more than 350 3D-printed components and a 120 kg (265 lb) chassis. That example shows another use of additive manufacturing in vehicles; it is not evidence about Stark’s motorcycle program or its outcomes. New Atlas’s report

Farsoon’s November 18, 2024 announcement establishes the partnership, the named printer and the companies’ stated production ambition. New Atlas reported in the same period that Stark claimed output of 1,000 bikes per month in June 2024; that is a company claim reported by the outlet, not an audited production figure. Neither source establishes that titanium components entered series production after the announcement.

So the manufacturing leap is a credible, specific plan to explore large-format metal printing at production scale, not a confirmed new generation of titanium-equipped dirtbikes. Until Stark or Farsoon documents completed production and identifies the parts, the practical effects on a motorcycle remain open.
