What was Lucid’s Q3 2025 record?
Lucid Group reported delivering 4,078 vehicles from July through September 2025. The company called it a quarterly record and said it marked seven consecutive quarters of record deliveries. The figure covers Lucid’s vehicles as a whole; it is not a Gravity-only total.

The distinction matters because “deliveries” measures vehicles handed over to customers, while “sales” can be used more loosely in headlines and coverage. Lucid’s reported result establishes the delivery total, not the number of orders placed or the split between its models.
How many of those deliveries were Gravity SUVs?
The Q3 announcement and contemporary coverage did not establish the exact number or percentage of Gravity SUVs in the 4,078 total. Gravity deliveries were picking up as the SUV reached customers, but the reported model mix remained unclear. It would be misleading to attribute the company-wide record to Gravity alone.

Did the expiring federal EV credit drive the record?
It may have influenced some customer decisions, but the available reporting does not quantify its effect on Lucid’s total. The credit’s expiration coincided with the quarter; that timing is not proof that it caused the record.
TechCrunch reported that the federal-credit eligibility relevant to Lucid was for lessees. That does not mean every Lucid customer or lease automatically qualified: eligibility depended on conditions not detailed in the reporting. The evidence supports describing the credit as a possible contributor, not assigning it a share of the quarterly deliveries.
How did Lucid’s deliveries change afterward?
Later company results show that quarterly deliveries did not rise in a straight line. These are company-wide delivery totals, not Gravity-only figures.

- Not established: the number of those vehicles that were Gravity SUVs.

- Important qualification: the contemporary report described the relevant credit eligibility as applying to lessees, not automatically to every buyer or lease.
In August 2026, Lucid CEO Silvio Napoli said, “Lucid has leading technology, compelling products and deeply committed people, but potential is not performance,” in the context of an operational reset. That later statement is a reminder that a quarterly delivery milestone is one measure of performance, not proof of sustained growth or a resolution of the questions around model mix and incentives.
