A 2024 report described a 27-foot trailer with extensive living amenities, solar power and water systems. Living Vehicle later listed a refreshed CyberTrailer in its 2026 lineup, but that announcement does not confirm the model’s current price, order status, delivery timing or final specifications.
What the CyberTrailer is—and what it isn’t
The CyberTrailer is a dual-axle, 27-foot (8.2 m) tow-behind RV. Its angular styling is intended to complement the Cybertruck, but New Atlas reported in October 2024 that it could be towed by any vehicle that is appropriately sized and equipped. It is not a truck-bed camper, and Cybertruck ownership is not presented as a requirement. New Atlas’s October 2024 report is the source for the detailed specifications below; they are announcement-era figures, not confirmed specifications for a 2026 production model.
What the 2024 description included
Living space and amenities
The reported interior combines a full kitchen and bathroom with flexible common space. Features included an induction cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, separate toilet-and-sink and shower areas, and a dining/lounge area that converts for use as a five-seat space. The layout was described as sleeping four adults and one child. A home-theater setup and a workstation described as Starlink-connected were also reported. These are features in the 2024 account; the current configuration has not been established.
Power and water systems
Living Vehicle’s announced design included deployable awnings topped with solar panels, with charging capability of up to 5,000 watts. It also advertised atmospheric water generation of up to 34 liters per day and a water-recycling system. These are company claims reported by New Atlas, not independently verified output figures. Actual energy and water autonomy cannot be determined from those maximum claims alone; the available account does not establish real-world production under particular weather, use or operating conditions.

Reported dimensions and towing figures
New Atlas reported a trailer weight of 5,000 pounds and an estimated gross vehicle weight of 9,000 pounds. The report also relayed the company’s claim of a drag coefficient as low as 0.39; it did not present that as an independent measurement. These announcement-era figures are useful starting points, not a substitute for current manufacturer specifications or the actual trailer’s ratings.
What the figures mean for a tow vehicle
The reported 5,000-pound weight and 9,000-pound estimated gross vehicle weight describe different things: the former is the reported trailer weight, while the latter is an estimate of the trailer’s maximum loaded weight. A prospective tow vehicle must be suitable for the trailer as loaded, not merely for its reported empty weight. Confirm the current trailer’s ratings and the tow vehicle’s towing, payload and hitch limits before treating the two as compatible.

Those figures do not establish how much towing would reduce a Cybertruck’s driving range, or whether a particular Cybertruck configuration can safely tow a particular CyberTrailer. The available sources provide no measured range impact. Compatibility and range should be checked against current vehicle and trailer specifications rather than inferred from styling or the trailer’s claimed aerodynamics.
2026 lineup mention: what is and isn’t confirmed
Living Vehicle’s press page includes an April 10, 2025 item saying its 2026 all-electric lineup includes refreshed HD, GT and CyberTrailer models. That confirms the company’s lineup statement, but the page does not establish the CyberTrailer’s current price, order availability, delivery schedule or detailed 2026 specifications. See Living Vehicle’s press page for the lineup mention.

CyberTrailer versus a truck-bed camper
A truck-bed camper is a different way to camp with a Cybertruck: it rides in the bed rather than being towed as a separate RV. Hotomobil’s CYBERGLAD is one example. Its undated vendor page, accessed October 8, 2026, describes a Cybertruck-specific camper for two people, lists an approximate product weight of 919 pounds and maximum cabin weight of 1,310 pounds, and shows tier prices of $24,000, $47,000 and $66,600. Hotomobil says specifications may vary and delivery timelines are estimates. Those are vendor-published details, not independently verified measurements or a like-for-like comparison with the CyberTrailer. See Hotomobil’s CYBERGLAD page.
| Decision factor | Living Vehicle CyberTrailer | Hotomobil CYBERGLAD |
|---|---|---|
| Form factor | 27-foot, dual-axle tow-behind RV, as reported in 2024 by New Atlas | Cybertruck-specific truck-bed camper, per Hotomobil |
| Price and availability | Current price and order availability not stated in Living Vehicle’s 2026 lineup mention | $24,000, $47,000 and $66,600 tier prices on the vendor’s undated page accessed October 8, 2026; availability not stated |
| Weight or capacity figures | 5,000-pound reported weight and estimated 9,000-pound gross vehicle weight in New Atlas’s 2024 report | Approximate 919-pound product weight and 1,310-pound maximum cabin weight, per Hotomobil; final specifications may vary |
| Sleeping capacity | Reported as four adults and one child in the 2024 description | Two people, per Hotomobil |
| Power and water | Announced solar and water-system claims in the 2024 report; independent performance not established | Not stated on Hotomobil’s product page |
| Measured towing-range impact | Not stated in the available sources | Not stated; it is a truck-bed camper rather than a towed trailer |
The choice turns on more than price or sleeping capacity. A trailer requires a suitable tow vehicle and campsite setup for a separate rig; a bed camper uses truck payload and occupies the bed. Living Vehicle’s reported layout offers substantially more described living space and amenities, while CYBERGLAD’s vendor listing presents a smaller, two-person form factor. The sources do not provide comparable real-world energy or water autonomy, campsite maneuverability or setup times for both products.

What to verify before choosing
- Ask Living Vehicle for the current CyberTrailer price, order status, delivery estimate and exact specifications for the model being offered.
- Confirm the trailer’s loaded weight ratings and hitch requirements, then compare them with the tow vehicle’s current towing and payload limits.
- Request measured towing-range information for the specific vehicle and trailer combination if range is a deciding factor; no such result is established in the cited sources.
- For a truck-bed camper, confirm how its weight and occupants or cargo affect the truck’s payload limits, and verify the vendor’s final specifications and delivery estimate.
- Compare sleeping arrangements, power and water needs, storage, campsite setup and the kind of trips you plan to take rather than treating a trailer and a bed camper as interchangeable.
