Three people died after a white Nissan Patrol left Brookton Highway and struck a tree in Lesley, east of Karragullen, on Sunday 16 March 2025. Police said the occupants were two men, aged 26 and 27, and a 23-year-old woman.
What happened in the Lesley crash?
At about 3pm on Sunday 16 March 2025, the Nissan Patrol was travelling westbound on Brookton Highway in Lesley when it left the road and hit a tree. The three people inside died at the scene, according to police information reported by PerthNow and 7NEWS.
Who died?
The occupants were a 26-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman. PerthNow attributed the account of their significant injuries and deaths at the scene to a police spokesman. No relationship between the occupants was established in the reports.
What did police say about the investigation?
Major crash investigators examined the scene. Police asked anyone who witnessed the crash or had relevant dash-cam or mobile-phone footage to contact them, as reported by PerthNow.

Is the cause of the crash known?
The contemporaneous reports do not establish why the vehicle left the road. They do not provide a later investigative finding, so no cause should be inferred from the available account.
